The small boutique resort offers authentic Ayurveda in a charming and stylish atmosphere and entices "by the way" with its fantastic location directly on the sea - the ideal backdrop for your feel-good stay.
The resort lies close to the colourful village Ambalangodas. The pool, garden and palm trees on the beach serve as a calming source to rewind and relax. The warm climate provides ideal conditions for Ayurveda treatments.
Sri Lanka, the tropical island state just in front of the Indian mainland, attracts with its traditional culture and magnificient flora and fauna - and with the traditional healing theory of Ayurveda. Ambalangoda is a vivid coastel town in the southwest of the island, which is known for its traditional Singhalese mask carving and its museum. Another highlight of the town is the swimming hole which formed itself naturally out of rocks.
Ayurveda guests are offered a wide selection of Ayurvedic foods, teas and juices. All meals are served individually. The diet plan is adapted to the Doshas in consultation with the cook and the Ayurveda physician in order to achieve an optimal outcome.
In the spacious Ayurveda centre, two Ayurveda medicals and several therapists carry out classical Ayurveda treatments and Panchakarma cleansing treatments. The centre is located next to the lobby and the pool. Further, it is equiped with nine treatment rooms, three ayurvedic steam baths, four herbal baths and two accupuncture rooms. Ayurvedic-cooking class on request.
A German speaking translation can be ordered for a free (ca. 35€).
The outdoor pool awaits you to relax and rewind.
Because the resort is located directly on the beach, you can use your freetime in direct proximity to the water. It is highly recommended to take long beach walks.
If requested, the resort offers Ayurveda cooking classes.
In accordance with the medicals, it is possible to take part on day trips to Ambalangoda, Hikkaduwa (ca. 15 km) or Galle (ca. 35 km). For a fee, trips by taxi or Tuk Tuk will be arranged by the hotel.

The hotel was a disappointment, only the location of the hotel on the beautiful beach was very good. The staff were very nice and friendly, but not enough to recommend the hotel.

I was in Sri Lanka for the first time with my partner. The reason for our trip was to experience a Pancha Karma healing therapy there. Until then, I had only experienced Ayurveda in India and Austria. Looking back, I can say with great pleasure that Sri Lanka is a beautiful country with very loving people and a flora and fauna to be proud of - simply uniquely beautiful! On the one hand, there are the great people who run and support our healing therapy at Oasis Aramaya with a lot of love and effort. We felt that we were in very good hands and the very special place, right on the most beautiful beach in Sri Lanka, is also something to be proud of - simply paradisiacal! I wouldn't do the healing therapy itself a second time. I have had other experiences and I think there is still room for improvement. What we experienced can be described as wellness and relaxation, but is a far cry from a classic Pancha Karma healing therapy, which was a bit of a shame! Nevertheless, we really enjoyed it, simply because of the unique location of this hotel. Absolutely recommendable! And the local people touched our hearts - thank you very much for these wonderful impressions and insights into the country and culture! We wish you every success and financial support so that the house can shine again in its full splendor! :) From the bottom of our hearts Marina and Niko

1-9.1.24 Oasis Aramaya Relaxing with very nice people in a simple, somewhat run-down hotel. Direct access to a not very clean beach.
