- In a pot, bring the milk to a boil, add salt and lemon juice or apple cider, stir and remove the pot from the heat. Then stir again.
- Put a clean crockery or cotton cloth in the colander and place it over a bowl.
- Now fill it with the boiled mixture. The whey will run down into the bowl and the Paneer remains in the cloth. Use a spoon to squeeze out the rest of the whey.
- Finally, wring the cloth with the leftover mixture so that the last remainder of the whey is fully drained. The less liquid remains in the Paneer, the firmer the cheese becomes.
- The homemade Paneer can last in the refrigerator for about five days.
According to the doctrine of the Ayurveda recipes, Paneer is said to be an active ingredient in the organism and is considered to be one of the healthiest cheese varieties.
The Golden Milk is considered as the Healing Magic of Ayurveda
The golden milk mainly consists of turmeric, which has a healing effect and is particularly popular in Ayurveda.
For the preparation you need the following:
- A teaspoon of turmeric paste
- A teaspoon of native oil (e.g. coconut oil)
- A cup of soy/almond milk
- Pepper and sweetness for flavor
- A pot
- Add the milk, turmeric paste and pepper to the pot, stir well while boiling
- If you do not prefer it frothy, you can add water. Sweeten according to favorable flavor.
- Fill it into a cup, add the oil and stir again.

Ghee, also clarified butter, is an important ingredient in the Ayurvedic cuisine and is considered as a panacea, which is used in many treatments both internally and externally. You can quickly make Ghee yourself as described in the following recipe.
The following ingredients and materials are needed for an Ayurvedic Ghee:
- 2 Pots
- Metal colander
- Clean crockery or cotton cloth
- Screw-cap glasses
- 1,5 kg organic sweet butter or sour cream
- In a saucepan, bring the butter to a boil, then reduce the heat. The already liquid butter should now boil gently for about 45 minutes. In doing so, skim the egg white with the dipper from the butter. If the butter is clear, it is ready for further processing. Caution: Be careful not to use the butter when it becomes oily or dark brown. If, on the other hand, the butter smells like caramel and is slightly nutty or has a golden yellow consistency, it is ready!
- Now pour the finished Ayurvedic ghee through the cloth and colander into the second pot. Afterwards, it can be filled into screw-cap glasses and sealed well. Tip: It is long lasting if not opened.
Since the Ghee does not have any waste products or proteins, it is a very pure product which is supposed to give the body the highest energy. Ghee also supports the body by its cleansing and anti-inflammatory effect. The older the ghee, the greater the therapeutic effect on the body.
Ginger water, the healing effects of this Ayurvedic Recipe
Ginger water is becoming increasingly popular. It is one of the Ayurvedic recipes that can be quickly prepared – no matter where you are. Therefore, ginger water is considered a very popular drink at work.
The following ingredients are required for your Ayurvedic ginger water:
- About four to five slices of peeled, fresh ginger
- A liter of water
- A pot
- For your Ayurvedic ginger water, prepare the ginger and place it with water into a pot.
- Boil everything without the lid until it is half done and then allow it to cool down.
The finished Ayurvedic ginger water can be enjoyed cold or warm throughout the day. It helps fight colds, has a positive effect on the weather and helps with the detoxification of the body.
