‘Ideal for rest and rejuvenate’ Translated by Google

The stay corresponded well to our wish concerning our ayurvedic cure. The hotel is very good and the staff can not do enough. Concerning the areas of improvement, given the rather isolated location of the place, it lacks a concierge offering outings and visits and rates visible to all because taxi prices vary depending on the receptionist in place. Regarding massages, only 2 techniques were used during this stay, it's a shame. And I recommend having a clean bathrobe every day and not 1 for a week. show more

    • Hotel in general
Very good regarding the cleanliness and the state of the rooms except daily difficulties of wifi connections, power cuts every day.
    • Spa, treatment and pool area
spa see comments above regarding bathrobes. Miss a gym
    • Treatments and programmes
More massage techniques would be more professional. Very hospitable, polite and welcoming staff

Very well maintained facility. Great service. For the sunbathing we have the beach chairs in front of the room. But here again and again guests were sneaking around to watch us. This is where two cultures meet. show more

    • Hotel in general
You can feel comfortable in the area. The staff is friendly and courteous. It left nothing to be desired. The rooms were always clean. The hotel is under no circumstances, as described in the catalog, at 1000m altitude.
    • Service and hospitality
We were always courteous. All very nice.
    • Cuisine
Versatile selection (on the part of the house). The sharpness of the food was always checked and adjusted accordingly. The brochure lacks the indication that the resort is a general alcohol ban.
    • Spa, treatment and pool area
Spa area: very attractive and clean, very relaxing The pool was unfortunately closed after 3 days for renovations. That was very regrettable. Pool area: directly in front of the reception and restaurant Sunbathing in a bikini impossible because the locals are not used to such a sight.
    • Treatments and programmes
Competent staff in the kitchen, service, therapies and yoga. We did not read or hear about workshops (jewelery making, Ayurvedic remedies). The cooking demonstration was lovingly organized for both of us. Everything was set up, explained, prepared and eaten in the garden. Just great!

    ‘Successfully "retreaded"’ Translated by Google

My goals for this (my first) Ayurveda holidays were weight reduction, mentally balanced and to be physically mobile. In all 3 points the cure was a great success: more than 8kg weight I left India, I move / feel back fitter and may i.a. also often back asleep, what hitherto not possible. show more

    • Hotel in general
The small charming hotel is located in a coconut plantation, close to a busy street (but most of the traffic noise does not penetrate to the hotel through), which is built on both sides (village). The plant is in toto in a good to very good condition with many optical "eye" (seating, swings, benches, ...) on the playing field - the teachers do a good job - everything is inviting. The rooms are properly equipped, the internal facilities all worked flawlessly. I had a room on the 1st floor in one of the villas - with a balcony overlooking the small pond in the middle Hotel. Rooms are cleaned daily, towels changed daily, bed linen several times during my stay - I was satisfied. Except for the first few days I was the only European host - initially I was lost something before, I had acclimatized me in this regard. In the hotel there is a strict ban on smoking and alcohol (just like smoking in public places is also outside of the hotel in Tamil Nadu). I missed something like a bar or a room in which one example after dinner in order to chat again could sit together - at 18:15 it was dark and after dinner we then went to the room - there is then bored, especially as a single traveler. Luckily I had my "vollbetankten" this Kindle. In the hotel frequently during the day corporate incentives are and private functions performed (especially 1-year-old birthday, what a particular dates here) - it made me feel but never bothered, it was rather interesting and a change because times watch.
    • Service and hospitality
The staff were mostly very friendly and helpful - especially for the reception area and the restaurant - but also for the individual team leaders and managers in the hotel, which took on occasion time for a short chat. When I left, waved me at the main gate 3 employees of Security for - I did not even know so far :-)
    • Cuisine
As food and drink are some of my special life content, were three weeks ayurvedic / vegetarian food (especially since I had chosen the program weight management), a great personal challenge. No meat, no egg, no coffee ... But the kitchen made it easy for me: the food was always very tasty (although I like some would have it here and there as a lover of Thai food "more spicy" had - the lies but apparently my Ayurveda program not to). Three meals were on the day (all hot food) and anything in between - but I have frankly no great hunger during this time had. At dessert I would have liked a bit more variety - there was either watermelon and cucumber or cucumber and watermelon - and on 2 days each a glass of buttermilk :-)
    • Spa, treatment and pool area
The pool area is very visually beautiful - I was daily durschschnittlich one hour swim (even if the water had a very high chlorine content, which may in this tropical monsoon climate is a must). Unfortunately lacked the mandatory for us Europeans sun loungers and parasols; Sunbathing in swimming trunks was not possible (and probably not welcome). During the day the pool of domestic guests was hardly used and if so, with correspondingly understated swimwear (swimsuit, men often with T-shirt) - but all was not a problem for me, after all, I was in a different culture and respected that. The Ayurveda Centre (1 doctor, 2 therapists, 1 therapist, 1 yoga instructor in the time when I was there) with its beautiful terrace is structurally / visually centered in the hotel complex - the 4 or 5 treatment rooms are almost identical , spartan but functional. The atmosphere was very good and positive, to cleanliness large value was placed.
    • Treatments and programmes
Since it was my first Ayurveda cure, I have no comparative figures. but I felt with my doctor Dr. David in good hands, who had put together a very effective program for me according to my dosha type, including any pre-existing conditions, general condition and objective. The "Therapists" Sarrat and "Uni" made me an experienced impression were very polite and after a few days of "Beschnüffelns" also relaxed mood, so that the factor was fun to. In addition, I was fortunate to be able to daily drill exclusively with yoga guru Santhosh Yoga and meditation, had adapted its program individually on my limited mobility and needs.

    ‘Great’ Translated by Google

My 20-day Ayurveda holiday in Coco Lagoon Resort was my first Ayurveda vacation and exceeded my expectations: At the resort I was indeed the only Ayurvedic .Travellers at this time, but I was able to concentrate very well on my own. I had daily 2 applications, yoga and meditation, and learned a lot about the country, people and culture. The staff at the resort were friendly, helpful and took care good care of me. Nearly a week after the trip I feel deeply relaxed and very relaxed. show more

    • Hotel in general
Very new (October 2013?) And super well-kept 32-room resort. Construction with lots of wood and palm leaves on the roofs. Nestled in coconut plantations and very quiet. Conditioning and room very clean.
    • Service and hospitality
All staff were very friendly and have always treated me with a smile and very accommodating.
    • Cuisine
I have the program for weight loss booked: The doctor created a list of foods that I can eat and which are taboo and the restaurant was accordingly cooked for me. I could decide what I want to eat. It was always freshly prepared and cooked with firschen ingredients. Since the resort is geared not only to Ayurveda guests, there were two dining rooms. It was prepared for other guests also meat, fish, non-Indian food etc.. Thanks to the separate Ayurvedic dining room this did not bother.
    • Spa, treatment and pool area
Beautiful small pool which was also good for swimming; also very clean The Ayurvedic area was well maintained, clean, with a beautiful and entpannenden ambience. The applications has been well and professionally carried out by very friendly staff, provided both relaxation, on the other hand they had a very cleansing effect, which was partly a bit painful for the skin and muscles.
    • Treatments and programmes
see above Even my teacher for yoga and meditation was very knowledgeable and nice; I learned a lot and also the trip to the temple was wonderful
