Karlsbad is picturesquely situated in a valley at the confluence of the Tepla and Ohre rivers. The historic spa town is especially famous for its drinking therapy using mineral springs ranging from 30 to 72 degrees Celsius. Art Deco WOLKER enjoys a beautiful location, directly next to the Mühlbrunn Colonnade. Leipzig/Nuremberg approx. 170/210 km.

We were only accommodated in the Wolker. Restaurant and treatments were in the Astoria. Overall well organized. The doctor's consultation took place immediately after arrival. You can't expect an intensive consultation. The big drawback for us was that we showed up for every treatment with street clothes. And then 10 minutes back to the bed house. Those staying in the Astoria were able to go from treatment to treatment or back to the room in their bathrobes. The treatments themselves were sometimes quite short (like Aquagym 15 minutes). The food tasted really good, there was something for everyone. Otherwise, it was a pleasant stay, not least because of the wonderful city.

From a logistical point of view, it was a masterful performance. Of course, you have to adapt to the local conditions, but the staff and guests were always ready to help me with words and deeds and there was really nothing to complain about. Anyone who complains here really has nothing to complain about. Thank you very much for the wonderful time, I had a good rest.

The hotel and the location were very good. There were good excursions, good walks and the springs nearby. The atmosphere in the city invites you to relax. The friendly people and positive mood made a good mood. We had a good rest and regeneration. The treating doctors are experienced and recommend good treatments. What bothered us a bit was the staff at the reception. The friendliness and response to complaints could be greatly improved. The toilet paper was not replenished, although we called a day before. The staff at the treatments was mostly nice and friendly. The sauna is great, the swimming pool is a bit too small for swimming, but fits for relaxing with massage showers. The rooms are clean and well equipped. The food is varied and oriented towards healthy eating. There is something for every taste. Every day different kinds of fish and enough meat. The vegetarian cuisine is also good. On the whole, we enjoyed our stay at the hotel very much and we recommend it! 👍
