Medically noticeably positive result after 3 weeks of spa therapy in a pleasantly friendly atmosphere in the spa, restaurant and hotel area, with some unnecessary, because easy to improve, weak points, for example. Cleanliness (public pool, spa tub area, changing rooms) and refreshment of the drinks, (as it is often called "ne mame".) The three, interconnecting Danubius hotels (different categories) are located on the so-called spa island, on foot pleasant city close. We will be back next spring.

Esplanade Hotel is connected to the Balnea medical centre where we had our treatments, starting with the Taste of a Piestany package! The medical consultation consinsted of signing off a form to specify conditions one mustn't have to use the facilities! This was a disappointment as we expected to speak to a medical person about our each individual needs and recommend treatments over and above the initial package! This didn't happen and we ended up adding on few extra treatments from a list not being sure what the treatments were! Staff spoke predominately German and Russian, with few speaking a broken English. Staff at the Reception , except for a lady called Vera, were not very friendly. They did everything by the book and if you had a question whose answer wasn't in the book, there was never readiness to help, and the answer would be NO! Vera made the difference seeing to us changing restaurants at the hotel and helping us organize our Anniversary dinner at the Thermia Hotel! Accommodation at the double deluxe plus on the 7th floor was good, comfortable, spacious room with a lovely view! The food at the hotel was atrocious! At breakfast was ok, but lunch and dinner were tasteless! We resorted to eating outside the hotel in nearby restaurants where we found decent food reasonably priced! The treatments at the medical / wellness centre were very professionally done! I had never seen injury and reumatic as well as wellness and rehabilitation done so well! We enjoyed mirror pool, mud packs, massages and only later discovered we could have had a lot more, had we been advised accordingly!! I strongly advise to make your research into treatments available before you go, even book some treatment on line, to ensure you had availability when you wanted as the place can get quite busy! So overall, it was a good experience and we will return but not necessarily at the Esplanade Hotel, primarily because of the food.

Very good. Not recommended for wheelchair users, who depend on themselves. No help with the applications.

Hotel selection and reservation made by tel. Preliminary / proposal of a competent employee of FitReisen. Pleasant spa stay with complex intensive spa treatment with 24 applications / week. Nevertheless target price does not quite reach. It is then better, but not me. Benefit all Kur applications incl. Medical consultations can be reached on foot in air-conditioned corridors of the SPA hotels of 4 assembled. Restaurant is zugewiesewen is quite good. so bring everything yourself - - buffet tw: disadvantage for people with reduced mobility. very difficult! but food variety tip. All the staff both in the hotel and the spa area wearing badges with the colors of the countries whose language they speak. Mostly German. Overall a gelunger stay will, go for further treatment soon there.
