Location & Surroundings

Sand in Taufers - a quaint village located in the Tauferer Ahrntal in the northeast of South Tyrol. Known as the valley of water abundance, it impresses with a majestic mountain panorama. It is situated at an altitude of approximately 865 meters.

Dining & Leisure

Breakfast buffet, afternoon soup or a small cake buffet from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., and in the evening a 5-course choice menu with salad, vegetable, and antipasti buffet. All dishes are prepared with regional ingredients and herbs from the hotel's own garden. Gluten-free and lactose-free dishes available (upon prior notification, for an additional charge).

Wellness & Spa

Indoor pool (approx. 31°C) with counter-current system and whirlpool. Finnish sauna, organic herbal steam sauna, Turkish steam bath, infrared sauna. Ayurvedic treatments with regional herbs from the South Tyrolean surroundings, e.g., Upanaha Sveda Lepa (back massage with herbal pack), Abhyanga (full body massage), Udvartana (herbal powder massage), Shiromardana (head and face massage) and more.

Beauty: Manicure, pedicure, classic body scrub, facial treatments. Vitalpina herbal treatments for the back, for example. Special massage with mountain pine and Scots pine, back or leg massage with arnica and St. John's wort. Classic Ayurveda treatments, "Lakshmi" and "Farmogal" cosmetics as well as detoxifying treatments.

Free Time

The Taufer Ahrn Valley offers a rich activity programme. In winter, enjoy ski courses or snowshoe hikes, cross-country skiing, and tobogganing. In summer, embark on mountain bike tours, alpine hopping, themed hikes, climbing, paragliding, or Kneipp therapy.

Family-run house with warm support through many a fasting crisis. Good and varied weekly program. Perfect location for excursions. Direct bus connections on the doorstep. Some rooms/bathrooms need modernization. The sauna area is being renovated and modernized. All treatments in the spa are of a very high standard thanks to excellent staff and a dedicated and competent manager. The price-performance ratio of the treatments and the included services is optimal. See you again 😍

Wonderful week in a wonderful place, welcomed and pampered by the owner of the hotel. Very nice and fun group. Definitely a great experience that I will definitely repeat.
