An idyllic resort with a retreat feel, nestled on a captivating golden sandy beach. It features a spacious Ayurveda Center tailored for personalised treatments, organic meals, and homemade herbal medicine. Seniors enjoy special benefits.
Linta's Golden Beach Resort, a non-smoking establishment, is built in the traditional South Indian style and is located amidst a palm grove right on the golden sandy beach. Within the premises, three lush tropical gardens invite guests for a stroll, simultaneously offering an atmosphere of idyllic comfort comparable to a retreat. The blend of Indian tradition and Western lifestyle gives the resort its unique charm.
Located on the coast of the Arabian Sea in the south of Kerala, Puthenthope is a former Christian fishing village. Surrounded by coconut palms and close to the beach, it is the perfect place for those seeking to escape the stresses of everyday life.
Enjoy Ayurvedic Indian dishes made predominantly from vegetables grown in our own organic garden. Non-alcoholic beverages, tea, and coffee are included with meals. Ayurveda guests receive three-course menus for lunch and dinner, suitable for all Dosha types (Tridosha), with one dish being Dosha-specific. Food intolerances are considered when composing the menus. Alcohol is not served. Freshly caught fish or chicken is available upon request (supplement of €10 per meal).
Spanning approximately 100 sqm, the Ayur Diamond classified Ayurveda Center includes a consultation room, three treatment rooms, and an Ayurveda pharmacy. All treatments are conducted under the careful supervision of an Ayurveda doctor (available daily from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., see CV below) and by a team of experienced therapists. Therapies with various focuses are offered, such as anti-stress, anti-aging, slimming, and beauty. Herbs for Ayurvedic medicine are grown in the resort's own herbal garden and are meticulously checked by the Ayurveda doctor. Daily yoga sessions with Indian instructors complement the Ayurveda therapy. Private yoga lessons can be booked on-site (approx. €5 (approx. UK £4 / USD $6) per person/hour). Travel companions also have the opportunity to book individual Ayurveda treatments on-site.
The resort features an outdoor pool with sun loungers amidst exotic vegetation. A variety of excursions to nearby attractions such as Kovalam, Trivandrum, or the Backwaters are organized by the hotel and concierge service for an additional charge.
A total of 14 individually decorated rooms with handpicked antiques feature walk-in showers, toilets, hairdryers, satellite TV, telephones, Wi-Fi, individually controlled air conditioning, fans, minibars, seating areas, and desks. In the main building, there are 4 rooms on the sea side (about 30-32 sqm) and 4 on the garden side (about 25 sqm) with balconies or terraces, plus 2 additional garden side rooms (about 22 sqm) without balconies. Sea side rooms have garden views, which may be partially obscured by vegetation. In the annex above the Ayurveda Center, there are 4 cottage rooms (about 18-20 sqm) with a shared balcony and soothing garden views, mostly wooden and in Kerala style. The construction of the cottages differs from that of the main building, making them slightly less soundproof. Safety deposit boxes are available at reception. Single rooms in the main building are double rooms for single use.

Beautiful resort, attentive staff and relaxing treatments! We are well looked after and our progress is noted, personal requests are taken on board and implemented if possible! The food is delicious and varied. The cottage rooms are very simple but well kept and clean. The beach is really right on the doorstep! It's definitely not the last time I've been there! I would highly recommend it!

Great resort, but unfortunately piles of garbage on the beach and no swimming possible due to strong currents! That was a shame-otherwise everything was great!

Beautiful small resort with direct access to the beach. Great Axurveda treatment accompanied by the competent and lovely Dr. Linta. Ideal for solo travelers or people who don't like large crowds in hotels. 20 minutes by tuctuc to the city. To the beautiful beaches of Varkala and Kovalam Max 1 hour drive. Prices very reasonable by German standards, Lulu shopping center with European and international stores at very good prices. Food (Ayurvedic full board plus tea and water excellent. Pool good size, tiles in need of renovation. Room in front building good size for single travelers. Bathroom simple but with hot water. Main building very nice rooms, especially on the 1st floor beautiful view. Always happy to return! Very good atmosphere among the travelers!
