No utilization

Friendly pleasant staff unfortunately not attentive enough in places at dinner. There were situations where we were not offered drinks at dinner and we were ignored. Sometimes we got the impression that locals were preferred.

We only used the pool. To our regret, it was always very loud due to the conversations of other guests. Despite signs indicating quiet to relax, the staff were not interested. The pool area was cleaned from 1-4pm which I didn't like this can be done before or after opening. We always had to leave the area at this time.

All nice and friendly, clean, close to Lake Heviz and also easy to get to the center on foot, but there is also a small train that stops in front of the hotel that you can take. From the outside, the hotel seems at first glance a bit "eastern block and boxy" but inside everything is wonderful, even the treatment rooms are fine. Only the water pools I would have liked a little cleaner (overflow was e.g. partly greenish - probably algae and the joints of the tiles in the pool e.g. at the bottom were partly dark discolored),

that was absolutely top, all very nice, friendly and helpful, gave good explanations and what was pleasant, all knew German

good advice, very helpful, were positively surprised about the competence of the spa doctor

Superior room with balcony and view comfortable, quiet, daily cleaning according to individual arrangement (thorough, refreshment or not at all). SAT TV with many channels. Very convenient direct elevator access to the healing therapies/spa department and restaurant/reception etc. Lobby and bar well furnished. Restaurant rather old fashioned furnished. During my stay (corona-related?) in the hotel were mainly guests from the Eastern Bloc, especially Hungary (during the holidays) and Russians (not the unpleasant nouveau riche), few Austrians and even fewer Germans or other nationals.

After a short acclimatization satisfactory: staff knows enough German and/or English. Any deficiencies were immediately corrected. Numerous waiters in the restaurant who work continuously, serving, clearing, etc.. Are immediately on the spot and restrained friendly. The staff in reception is restrained friendly. Very nice the 2 ladies of the guest services at the entrance.

Very good Heviz healing therapy with 72 treatments. Good therapy plan after initial medical consultation. Helpful spa reception. Friendly and competent therapists. In addition, 2 times daily gymnastics and AquaFitness for all hotel guests. Christmas and New Year's Eve program o.k. Unfortunately - due to the lack of interested people - there are practically no possibilities for excursions or activities outside the hotel. In 3 weeks I could only visit the baroque castle nearby with a concert afterwards. My day was filled with healing therapies and spa anyway.

Of course, three weeks of buffet food can hardly satisfy anyone. For an average palate, the quality is enough. A great exception was the very good New Year's Eve menu (extra charge). Sufficient quantities. Breakfast good, dinner average. The best are the soups, the national dishes or the sweet desserts. Inexpensive good Hungarian wines and beer on own account. Otherwise, soft drinks included in the price. I found it pleasant that there is free choice of seats and you do not always have to sit at the same table. However, if you want, you can reserve a fixed place.

Spa area optimal (four to five stars): Solid furnishings. Tea service, medicinal water drinking fountain. Treatments, therapists, punctuality, organization, cleanliness, etc. flawless. Only the mud packs for me not hot enough, is supposed to be so according to a doctor's prescription. Other guests have also complained about this. Spa area o.k., 3 stars. Sometimes quite crowded, as outside guests are also allowed. Outdoor sauna (textile-free) with infusion shows. Nice warm-water outdoor pool with massage jets, atmospherically lit in the evening. Large indoor spa area is modern, not textile-free, with steam bath, sauna, aroma sauna, infrared sauna, and relaxation room. The rest of the area looks rather older and is unadorned. The large indoor pool offers enough space for swimming and AquaFitness. The 2 warm themal water pools can get very crowded. The water is changed daily, and the pools are cleaned and disinfected. The loungers around the pools as well as the interior is older and could use an overhaul. Large cosmetic department which I did not visit and therefore cannot rate.
