The Luxury Spa & Medical Wellness Hotel Prezident is located in the heart of Karlovy Vary - the largest and most internationally renowned spa town in the Czech Republic, offering a diverse cultural scene. Thanks to its central location, guests have easy access to important healing springs and attractions. Karlovy Vary's natural remedies include 12 mineral springs (hydrogen carbonate and sodium chloride sulfate springs) with temperatures ranging from 30 to 72 degrees Celsius, used for drinking therapies, baths, and rinses.

Karlovy Vary Drinking Therapy
In Karlovy Vary, digestive system ailments can be treated thanks to the presence of mineral water springs. Overall, these springs have a beneficial effect on diseases of the liver, pancreas, and for the regeneration of internal organs. The recommended duration for the drinking therapy is 2-3 weeks.

Our menu features specialties from both national and international cuisines, always meticulously prepared to ensure they are not only delicious but also healthy. We offer a breakfast buffet, and for lunch and dinner, guests can choose from a menu or buffet. Our kitchen staff are happy to individually prepare dishes for guests with diabetes, gluten allergies, vegetarians, vegans, or other intolerances. Please inform us of your special requirements at the time of reservation.
The Lounge Bar (open approximately 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.) features a bar and several seating groups where you can comfortably sit at any time of day until the evening, enjoying everything from coffee (from the Karlovy Vary roastery) to soft drinks, smoothies, and Moravian wines.
A large sun terrace gives guests the feeling of an oasis of scents and tranquility, even in the city centre. On one side, there is an in-house herb or kitchen garden, and depending on the wind direction, Mediterranean scents waft over the terrace. On the other side, during the warmer seasons, you'll find a comfortable place to spend time outdoors. Directly beneath the terrace are the indoor pool and wellness area. Combine your sauna session or swim with sunbathing right on the terrace.
Health & Treatments
The modern spa and therapy area, spanning 2,400 sqm (open daily from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.), offers a plethora of spa, wellness, and beauty treatments. The wellness resort features an indoor pool, caldarium, tepidarium, Finnish and bio-sauna, two relaxation rooms, a whirlpool, and a plunge pool (open daily from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.). Additionally, there is a floating pool and Russian banja, Golden Rasul, Royal Hamam. Internationally recognized balneology specialists and two female doctors collaborate with significant research and training institutes. Treatments include mud and CO2 baths, underwater massage, electro and magnetotherapy, water and individual physiotherapy, inhalations, paraffin or mud wraps, ultrasound, acupuncture, Hawaiian, hot stone, aroma, chocolate, and honey massages. Cosmetics by Dr. Babor. Manicure and pedicure services are available. Fitness center.
Indications: Digestive tract diseases (liver, gallbladder, stomach, duodenum, small and large intestine, pancreas), spine, back pain, musculoskeletal system, metabolic disorders (diabetes mellitus, gout, obesity, high cholesterol).
Contraindications: acute and infectious diseases, malignant tumors during and after treatment with clinically detectable signs of disease progression, pregnancy, alcohol dependence, dependence on addictive substances, non-healing skin defects, inability to care for oneself and perform daily activities without assistance, inability to walk independently, urinary and fecal incontinence.

Take a trip to the town of Loket with its medieval stone castle or visit the castle complex of Becov nad Teplou with the St. Maurus Reliquary.
For guests who wish to stay active during their holiday, numerous hiking trails are available. In some parts, you can use the cable car and enjoy the beautiful views from the many lookout towers. In winter, enjoy skiing or hiking on Keilberg (Klinovec 1,244 m), about a 20-minute drive towards Joachimsthal (free parking, ski school, and ski rental available). At the summit of Keilberg, you can comfortably ride the 3 km long cable car. Cyclists can look forward to well-maintained bike paths, and for the more experienced, there is a downhill track for mountain biking.

After very good support from SpaDreams-Reisen in advance, the arrival and return journey as well as the stay were very relaxed. The hotel is centrally located in the spa area of Karlovy Vary and endeavors to fulfill all wishes. The accommodation and meals were exactly as booked. We felt very comfortable. The hotel is a non-smoking hotel. However, smokers are welcome to smoke on the balcony or in front of the hotel. We also really liked the sauna and bathing area. Everything was modern and clean.

We really enjoyed our vacation and recovered well. Drinking the healing water every day and the treatments made minor ailments - heartburn and joint pain - disappear. This was definitely not our last vacation at the Prezident.
