At the family-run Mangosteen Ayurveda & Wellness Resort, experience a holistic Ayurveda holiday away from everyday hustle. Located away from the tourist centre of the island, the resort is nestled in a lush tropical garden with diverse flora and its own small waterfall, inviting you to relax. Not far away is Nai Harn Beach, possibly one of the most beautiful beaches in Thailand, which can be reached by shuttle bus (approx. 3.7 miles). The hotel welcomes adults aged 12 and over, ensuring a tranquil atmosphere.

Location & Surroundings

In the lush southern part of Phuket Island, enjoy a unique atmosphere. Here, tropical gardens and pristine nature beckon, along with numerous restaurants offering delicious specialties and stunning beaches. Notably, the "Promthep Cape", where you can enjoy breathtaking sunsets and a unique sea view, or the impressive "Phuket Big Buddha" standing over 40 meters tall, are worth a visit.

Dining & Leisure

In the restaurant with a terrace and show-cooking area, enjoy healthy, freshly prepared Mediterranean dishes with Asian influences from the buffet. For Ayurveda guests, tasty sattvic (vegetarian) dishes are prepared and served according to their dosha. Non-Ayurvedic meals are available for other guests. If sattvic meals are desired, please specify when booking. Vegan, lactose-free or gluten-free options, partly using organic ingredients, are also available. The restaurant also boasts its own wine cellar.

Ayurveda Center

Under the excellent German management and with the intensive care of an experienced Indian Ayurveda doctor, traditional Ayurvedic treatments are carried out in four treatment rooms by professionally trained therapists. Under medical supervision, your personal constitution type (Dosha) is determined, and a tailored treatment and dietary plan is created. The Ayurvedic oils are sourced from India or made locally with native ingredients. Yoga, an essential part of the therapy, takes place daily. New Yoga Shala for various activities. Beauty and wellness treatments such as massages and wraps complement the offerings. 2 steam saunas, 1 new Himalayan salt sauna (50°C) and a Jacuzzi.

Relax in the spacious outdoor pool with a jacuzzi and lounge bar amidst the tropical garden. For those looking to stay active during their holiday, there is a hotel gym available. For quieter moments, there is a library, DVD rental, and an internet PC.

Wonderful vacation, perfect introduction to Ayurveda

We wanted to get a taste of Ayurveda and were able to have lots of great treatments and do yoga twice a day. The resort is beautiful, the pool large and clean, the staff very courteous, helpful and friendly. The cuisine was great!

Nice and quiet ambience - there is still room for improvement in the offer and the care of the guests

It really is a place of tranquillity that invites you to relax and unwind. The range of treatments varies between excellent and poor. The Ayurvedic doctor and his care are excellent. The food is good, but does not offer much variety.

Far better than optimistically expected. A quiet resort under German management, which is very flexible and service-oriented to the wishes of the guests. A high quality and professional Ayurveda and Yoga offer.
