Your Ayurveda Resort
The Oasis Ayurveda Beach Resort is located in the south of the island, directly on a vast, almost deserted beach surrounded by about 50,000 sqm of lush flora and fauna. Encounters with monkeys, peacocks, and monitor lizards are not uncommon during a stroll. The main building with the Ayurveda and Oasis wings, the semi-detached houses in the Ayurveda Village (on request), and 1 cabana (on request) are spread out across the grounds. The dry, warm climate, often with a gentle breeze, is excellent for a restorative Ayurveda regeneration or Panchakarma therapy.
Dining & Leisure
In the ground floor of the main building, the renovated restaurant offers rich Ayurvedic buffets, labelled according to doshas. Meals are served on the adjacent covered terrace, by the pool, and under the shade-giving palms in the beautiful garden. In case of bad weather, meals are taken indoors.
Ayurveda Center
The Ayurveda Center is located in a separate building near the main hotel and features 13 treatment rooms and 2 acupuncture rooms, 6 herbal and 3 Ayurvedic steam baths. The Ayurveda Center is led by an experienced chief physician (regularly on-site) and other Ayurveda doctors (with various specialties such as rheumatic or psychosomatic diseases, diabetes, acupuncture) as well as several therapists. The yoga pavilion provides space for therapy-accompanying yoga and meditation sessions.
Free Time
Relax by the outdoor pool or use the gym. Trips to Kalamatija bathing beach (approx. 20 mins) and the use of 9- or 18-hole golf courses nearby (payable at the hotel) are available on request. Small events such as sari and sarong wrapping courses, cooking demonstrations, temple ceremonies, and excursions to cultural highlights in the vicinity can be offered for a fee depending on the offer and number of participants. Notably, the Bundala or Yala National Park, which hosts one of the densest leopard populations worldwide along with crocodiles, elephants, mongooses, and monkeys, is highly recommended.

Hotel rooms at a glance
The spacious, comfortable rooms are cosily furnished and meet European standards, featuring a bathtub/toilet, hairdryer, bathrobe, TV, safe, telephone, air conditioning, and mosquito nets on request. From the terrace or balcony, you can enjoy a magnificent view of the tropical garden and the beautiful pool. The Ayurveda Wing rooms are located about 100 m from the pool, closer to the Ayurveda Center, while the Oasis Wing rooms are even closer to the pool. Single rooms are double rooms for single use. Wi-Fi is available throughout the resort.

The resort is a little outdated, but is still well-maintained. The food was tasty, but unfortunately too little attention is paid to the individual doshas. Everyone eats everything here if they want to.

Since I was the only guest, the care was very individual. For a man, Ayurveda is already very getting used to. Much with flowers - be it as a headdress or in the herbal bath.

My week at Oasis was great! Very nice therapists and the doctor took great care of me. In addition, delicious, healthy food and a great hotel complex. The only thing you need to know: the beach is not so great, due to currents also not suitable for swimming.

I had a wonderful vacation with great hotel...professional Ayurvedic massages and delicious Ayurvedic food. Every wish was read from the eyes. The rooms are bright and spacious with refrigerator, kettle with tea and Neskaffee preparation possibility. Super air conditioning. Large bathroom with bathtub and hot and cold water and enough water pressure to wash the oil from the hair. Bed linen is changed almost every 2nd day. Everything very clean. Pleasant hours by the large pool and the wildlife is fascinating. Wild peacocks...monkeys...Many birds...especially grass herons...lizards...small chipmunks to name a few. I will definitely be back. The large sandy beach is deserted. A facility where you can really find peace and relaxation. I was and am in any case deeply relaxed.
