Pilot Beach Resort

Located in the bay of Almyros, on the long sandy beach of Georgioupolis, the Pilot Beach Resort offers pure relaxation and beautiful views of the Aegean Sea and the White Mountains. The modern complex, styled after a traditional Cretan village, is surrounded by olive and avocado trees and is divided into two areas by a coastal road (underpass). Seasonal operation from April to October.

In the centre of the idyllic fishing village of Georgioupolis (about 0.8 miles away), you'll find taverns, restaurants, cafes, bars, and shopping opportunities. A bus stop for excursions to Rethymno (about 11 miles) or Chania (about 25 miles) is located directly at the hotel.

4 Restaurants: The main restaurant 'Kronos' awaits you with a Mediterranean/international buffet, while the traditionally designed 'Ariadni' offers Greek cuisine and an Italian buffet at lunch in the Italian Corner. 'Gialos' by the sea invites you to enjoy tasty Greek dishes and grill specialties (à la carte at lunch) as well as theme evenings with live music. For a romantic setting, 'Almyra', the seasonal Asian à la carte restaurant, serves fresh fish/sushi with a breathtaking view of the beach (Jun.-Sept., except Wednesdays, surcharge approx. €15 (approx. UK £13 / USD $16) per person). Vegetarian and vegan options available in Kronos or Ariadni. Dietary meals available on request.

The Olive Spa offers holistic treatments for body and soul, partially using high-quality organic olive oil from our own production. 11 treatment rooms with chromotherapy for massages, facial treatments, body shaping with ultrasound device "Ultratone" and vacuum massage, hydromassage and much more. Vichy shower. Steam bath, sauna, bio sauna, plunge pool, sensorial showers and relaxation room in the "Thermal Suite". Pilot Farm

The Pilot Beach Resort is harmoniously integrated into the natural surroundings and includes an organic farm that spans over 3,000 olive trees, avocados, various vegetables, and a multitude of fruits. The production from these lands is sufficient to cover a whopping 30% of the hotel's food requirements, leading not only to sustainable practices but also to fresh and tasty ingredients for the kitchen.

The resort is particularly proud of its organic olive oil produced on-site. This high-quality olive oil is not only used in the kitchen but is also a parting gift for all guests, allowing them to take a piece of Cretan culture and hospitality home with them.
