SpaDreams acts as a "Christmas Angel" for India

Provide access to clean drinking water with each booking

Frankfurt, December 4th, 2014. Before Christmas, the Ayurvedic experts of SpaDreams wanted not only to reward its customers with great offers, but also – in the spirit of Christmas - to help those who are less well off in life. So, the specialist tour operator has come up with something very special: Worldwide more than 780 million people lack access to safe drinking water, in India too, the cradle of traditional teaching Ayurveda, millions of people still live without sustainable access to safe drinking water and sanitation. SpaDreams is committed to change that fact permanently. With every booking to India made in December – together with "Viva con Agua" (VcA) - lifelong access to clean drinking water is made possible to the people who need it most. In addition, sanitary and hygienic measures are also secured through the WASH campaign (water, sanitation, hygiene) strengthening the social position of the people.

"It's shocking how many people these days still have to live without sustainable access to safe drinking water and to functioning sanitation and hygiene facilities, and how much lower life expectancy is thereby decreased. It is even more important to ensure that all people get unlimited access to clean drinking water. At SpaDreams, we would like to do our part to achieve this goal," said Dr. N.A., manager of SpaDreams travel. In recent years, "Viva con Agua" will set up a connection to clean drinking water, as well as, hygiene and sanitation facilities for over 300,000 people. As a tour operator specializing in health and wellness holidays, we consider this high level of social commitment as very commendable and we look forward to foster better quality of life and a higher living standards through this fundraiser from other people," said Dr. Asmussen on.
