In western India, in the idyllic village of Kasturbadham, not far from Rajkot, approx. 700 km from Mumbai, Raga Svara, designed by local architects, is located on approx. 25 hectares of idyllic natural landscape. Small tropical gardens, fruit orchards, buildings bathed in earthy colors and an incredible biodiversity of flora and fauna make the retreat a true oasis of well-being.
"Raga" describes a sequence of tones ("Svara") that gives melodies a unique color - symbolic of the journey, consisting of many individual steps, to oneself. The focus is on well-being and balance between body, soul and spirit. The soothing atmosphere as well as holistic Ayurvedic treatments support you to get back in harmony with nature and yourself. Traditional approaches and modern systems merge to offer guests not only relaxation, but also teach them how to overcome the challenges of everyday life while continuing to dedicate themselves to their health.
You dine either in the fresh air or in style in the in-house restaurant. The kitchen team will serve you tasty dosa-friendly dishes and "super foods" as a menu, offering an exciting combination of traditional and modern cuisine. Much emphasis is placed on healthy and vegetarian food. The seasonal ingredients are mainly from our own vegetable and herb garden. Alcohol is not served in accordance with Ayurvedic teachings.
The Prakriti Ayurveda Center is located in the southern part of the complex. Particularly unique is that the Raga Svara is one of few retreats, which also has a university. This enables the cooperation with 46 Ayurveda doctors, who can support the optimal orientation of your treatment precisely. In addition, 2 Ayurvedic doctors are always available on site and, with experienced therapists, devote individual attention to each guest. The authentic Ayurveda treatments are carried out in 8 treatment rooms. In addition, there are two steam cabins. The focus of your Ayurveda retreat is chosen prior to arrival, but can also be adjusted by the Ayurveda doctor at the initial consultation if needed, and a personalized treatment plan is created. Upon departure, you will be given helpful tips that you can integrate into your daily routine even after your therapy. On the premises there is also a center for course-accompanying yoga and meditation sessions with experienced yoga teachers (suitable for advanced and beginners)
.The resort features lush gardens, an outdoor pool with loungers, a library, a boutique with local souvenirs, and the "Mandala" amphitheater for cultural and dance events. In addition, Ayurvedic cooking classes and lectures are offered. There are several excursion destinations in the vicinity, such as the former princely capital Rajkot (approx. 14 km) with Mahatma Gandhi Museum and Shree Swaminarayan Main Madir Temple, the Khijadiya Bird Sanctuary (approx. 96 km), the Dwarkadhish Temple (approx. 106 km) or the Gir National Park (approx. 190 km).

All units are equipped with shower/WC, king size bed, air conditioning, tea set, WiFi, balcony/terrace with seating. 20 Raga rooms (approx. 56 sqm) in the southern part of the complex, close to the Ayurveda center. 2 Raga villas (approx. 214 sqm), close to the yoga & meditation center and gardens, additionally with separate living area and private outdoor pool (approx. 15 sqm).
