Your Spa Hotel
The NaturMed Hotel Carbona is quietly and centrally located approximately 500 m from the thermal lake, set in a 4.6 ha Mediterranean park with a Feng-Shui garden.
Location & Surroundings

Dining & Leisure
The hotel offers a wide range of culinary delights from Hungarian and international cuisine. In the evening, a generous buffet is available, while at lunchtime, guests can choose from both buffet and à la carte options. The hotel takes great care to cater to special dietary needs, including vegetarian, lactose-free, gluten-free, wholefood, and slimming diets (approx. 1,000 kcal). Additionally, various diet options are available. Guests interested in fasting according to the Buchinger method will find appropriate support on site. Furthermore, you can indulge yourself in the hotel's bars and cafes.
Wellness & Spa
Spanning approximately 1,500 square metres, the wellness area is open daily from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. and is accessible to non-hotel guests for a fee. It features a variety of facilities for relaxation and rejuvenation, including an in-house thermal spring and a medicinal water pool (daily water change, water temperature about 36°C), a Roman-style thermal pool (about 34°C, accessible until 6 p.m.), an indoor pool (about 25 x 12.5 metres, about 26°C), a thermal wellness indoor pool (about 32°C) with massage jets, a Kneipp pool, and whirlpools. The entire area is surrounded by a Mediterranean garden, which in summer also offers a junior pool and an adventure outdoor pool (about 20 x 12.5 m, about 32-33°C) with bubble zones and an adjacent sunbathing lawn. In the sauna island, you can choose from various saunas, including a Finnish sauna, an aroma chamber, a steam bath, a tepidarium, and an infrared sauna. Additionally, there is a textile sauna and a fitness room.
Beauty
The Esteticum Beauty Salon, open Monday to Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (except on Hungarian public holidays), offers a wide range of services. Here you will find products from renowned brands such as mySPIRIT Skincare, Kleanthous, and Thal'ion. Available treatments include Vacustyling, Dermato-Diagnostics with state-of-the-art equipment, and Mesotherapy for skin tightening and body shaping. Additionally, Ayurveda is offered, and a L'Oreal hair salon is available for hairdressing services.
Spa area
The therapy area of the NaturMed Hotel Carbona spans an expansive 700 square metres and is available to guests from Monday to Saturday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Under medical supervision, this area offers a variety of health services for a fee, such as body/health preventive check-ups, functional and energetic body examinations, cardiovascular assessments with an arteriograph, the BioFit test with medical examination including full diagnostics with electro-acupuncture and foot sole diagnosis (2 hours), and the mechano-therapeutic device Spineliner for the examination and simultaneous treatment of back pain and spinal problems - also suitable for the musculoskeletal system.
A wide range of therapies is also available, including electrotherapy, hydrotherapy, and oxygen therapy, as well as specialised treatments such as ionozon, carbon dioxide baths, Stanger baths, hydrogalvan, hydroxeur, tangentor, weight bath, fluoride, sulphur and mud packs, and massages (classic, lava stone, Yumeiho, foot reflexology, and lymphatic drainage). Additionally, a Sensolite full-body treatment with polarised light is offered to strengthen the skin and immune system, a cryosauna, movement therapy with FLABéLOS® treatments, and a thalasso area. For additional fees, guests can also use the salt chamber and the solarium.
The Gelencsér Dental Clinic offers guests of the NaturMed Hotel Carbona a complimentary dental examination, and guests are provided with a free transfer to the Gelencsér Dental Clinic in Hévíz.

Chronic, peripheral, mechanically linked complaints associated with the nervous system (e.g., neuralgia, neuropathy, sciatica, polyneuropathy, paresis)
Chronic gynaecological diseases
Pre- and post-treatment of joint operations, cartilage disc operations (post-treatment of slipped discs)
Fractures, injuries from accidents, rehabilitation in the postoperative phase (especially after fractures of the arms and legs)
Contraindications: Tumorous diseases in the drug treatment phase, severe heart diseases, conditions after a heart attack, high blood pressure, venous thromboses, all acute and chronic infectious diseases (e.g., tuberculosis, hepatitis, etc.), active ulcers, hyperthyroidism, uncontrolled diabetes, pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Hotel rooms at a glance
The hotel offers a total of 250 rooms and 10 suites. Room categories include Standard (approx. 20 sqm), Standard Plus (approx. 22 sqm), and Superior (approx. 25 sqm). Standard Plus and Superior rooms feature comfort mattresses, while Superior rooms also include a coffee/tea set. All rooms in the main building (Oriental with round bed and Deluxe, approx. 20 sqm with capsule machine) have been recently fully renovated. Each room features a bathroom with bathtub or shower, hairdryer, air conditioning, minibar, satellite TV, telephone, safe, and a balcony. There are also allergy-friendly rooms and a disabled-friendly room. Single rooms are double rooms for single use. The hotel has 6 lifts and an internet point.
