Just a few minutes' walk from the pristine beach, SAMANA Ayurveda Hotel is nestled in a tropical garden, approximately 200 metres from Somatheeram Ayurvedic Health Resort. Guests at SAMANA have access to the facilities and services of both resorts, which are led by an experienced German-Indian management team. A hotel-owned tuk-tuk is available to shuttle guests between the resorts. Since its inception in 1990, Somatheeram Ayurvedic Health Resort has been recognised multiple times as a pioneering Ayurvedic centre in India with Western standards.

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are served at the Health Resort for guests on half or full board. All meals are Ayurvedic vegetarian, tailored to individual doshas, featuring a variety of fruits, freshly squeezed juices, and numerous spices. South Indian, European, and Chinese specialties are available for an additional charge.

Each guest receives a personalised Ayurveda therapy, holistically supported and advised, and adjusted as needed during the treatment. The Somatheeram Ayurveda Center, awarded the Ayur Diamond classification and certified 10 times as the "Best Ayurvedic Centre", is led by the renowned Ayurveda physician Dr. Raman, the former Director of Ayurveda in Kerala, with a team of about 80 highly trained Ayurveda doctors and therapists. The SAMANA has its own small Ayurveda Center with treatment rooms. Depending on occupancy, the Ayurveda treatments and doctor consultations are conducted either at SAMANA or at Somatheeram. In its own factory, under the supervision of doctors, about 225 authentic Ayurvedic medicines/products are produced, regularly state-tested and awarded the Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) certificate. Yoga

Yoga and meditation daily in the yoga hall at Somatheeram. Private yoga sessions available upon request (€27/90 min., payable on site).

In Somatheeram Ayurvedic Health Resort: Beautiful outdoor pool, direct access to the sea (sunbed, umbrella, and towel service provided). Open-air stage for cultural/dance events. Open-air lounge with traditional tea cart, herb garden, Wi-Fi at the reception.
