Location & Surroundings
Marienbad, a world-famous spa town with 40 mineral springs, clean air, and a mild stimulating climate, impresses with its magnificent Art Nouveau architecture and extensive spa parks.
Dining & Leisure
The restaurants "Athena" and "Sophia" offer Bohemian and international dishes. Breakfast buffet, lunch 4-course choice menu, evening buffet, Saturdays 4-course choice menu. Lactose-free and gluten-free meals available on request. Regular dance evenings are held at the hotel.
Wellness & Spa
Indoor pool (7-11:30 a.m./12:30-9 p.m., approx. 9 x 5 m) with counter-current system, whirlpool loungers. Finnish sauna, steam bath. For a fee: Wellness treatments such as relaxation and head massages, aromatherapy, Ayurveda, Shiatsu, and hot stone massages at the Balneo Center.
Health & Treatments
The Balneo Center (open daily from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.) is located on the first floor, covering approximately 700 sqm with doctors and medical staff. The therapy treatments are based on the use of natural Marienbad remedies such as peat, mineral spring water, and CO gas. Treatments include hydrotherapy, magnetotherapy, oxygen therapy, electrotherapy, as well as classic, reflex, partial and full body massages, ultrasound, lymphatic drainage, biostimulation laser, CO dry bath, hydroxeur, pearl bath, paraffin wraps, medicinal gas injections, natural peat packs, inhalations, therapeutic exercise.
Indications: diseases of the musculoskeletal system, kidneys and urinary tract, respiratory organs, as well as diseases of the digestive tract and metabolism, follow-up care after oncological diseases (after completion of comprehensive cancer treatment with no clinical signs of activity).
Contraindications: acute and infectious diseases, malignant tumors during and after treatment with clinically detectable signs of disease progression, pregnancy, alcohol dependence, dependence on addictive substances, non-healing skin defects, inability to care for oneself and perform daily activities without the help of others, as well as inability to walk independently, incontinence.

Enjoy Marienbad - The area is not only perfect for therapy and relaxation, but also offers numerous excursion opportunities: historically significant buildings, monasteries, castles. Please ask at the hotel for excursion tips. Idyllic natural landscapes invite you for walks, and there are numerous opportunities for hiking enthusiasts, cyclists, and anglers. 18-hole Royal Golf Club Marienbad about 1.9 miles away, golf lessons available.

The hotel and the 42 treatments we each received were very good. The staff were nice and courteous. In February there is not much going on in Mariánské Lázně and the surrounding area and the nature is still clearly back due to the altitude. I would rather recommend a stay between May and October, even though it is much more expensive then.
