In the heart of the Lüneburg Heath, VitalHotel Ascona is situated between Lüneburg and Uelzen in the spa town of Bad Bevensen. Enjoy the comforting ambiance of the hotel, just about 200 meters from the therapy park, a few minutes' walk from the city center, and in close proximity to the iodine-salt thermal bath.

Enjoy our cosy, air-conditioned restaurant. We offer vegetarian dishes, whole foods, slimming, separation, and gentle diets, as well as lactose-free and gluten-free options, and special diets. Almased vital food. With half board, enjoy a vital breakfast buffet, usually a speciality buffet in the evening, and a 3-course menu at lunch.

Spa & Wellness

Indoor pool (11 x 8 m) with counter-current system and massage jets, Finnish sauna (approx. 85°C), salt sauna with Himalayan salt rock (approx. 65°C), infrared cabin (approx. 45°C), Kneipp pool, sensorial shower, fitness equipment. Pilates. Massages, baths, wraps also available on prescription from your GP or spa doctor.

Spread across two interconnected levels, our hotel features 74 cosy rooms, each with a balcony or terrace. The main building, Building A, houses the wellness and fitness area, including a swimming pool, saunas, and the therapy department, as well as the majority of the comfort and standard double rooms. Building B primarily contains standard and luxury single rooms. All rooms are equipped with a shower or bathtub, toilet, hairdryer, bathrobe, radio, cable TV, telephone, Wi-Fi, safe, and cosmetic mirror, some with a minibar. Choose from standard double rooms facing north or south (approx. 20 sqm), comfort rooms (approx. 23 sqm) facing south with a seating area and desk, bathroom with shower and bathtub, luxury rooms (approx. 30 sqm) facing southwest with a magnificent park view, also with a seating area and desk, separate toilet. Standard single rooms (approx. 18 sqm) in the main building with a north view, in annex B with south-west view, bathroom with shower, equipped with an armchair and desk. The cosy luxury single rooms (approx. 30 sqm) all face south, equipped with a shower or bathtub and a couch or 2 armchairs. Each building section has a lift.

We, my girlfriend & I, were here for 1 week for an alkaline diet. It was wonderful and relaxing here. Especially the tastefully prepared food. So varied, prepared + served with love! We also took advantage of the opportunities for exercise under supervision or guidance, such as aqua gymnastics, forest walks, yoga and Zumba. Talks about nutrition, tips on herbs in everyday life, e.g. sweetening without remorse, very informative + interesting. It felt like our week's vacation went by too quickly, unfortunately. Relaxed and satisfied, we set off on our journey home and say thank you to the staff! Especially the flowers for every woman on Mother's Day, what a lovely idea! Of course, I would also like to thank the SpaDreams team for their support and advice. Everything worked out wonderfully. And nature was wonderful at this time of year, everything was green and in bloom. I would like to note that the hotel is getting on in years, but with a very friendly service from the staff, who really try to meet the guests' wishes!
