Your Wellness Hotel
The family-run, adults-only hotel is nestled in the enchanting Waldachtal - a community near Freudenstadt - surrounded by tranquility and nature. Here, relaxation, enjoyment, and wellness create the perfect holiday experience. The resort, which blends warm hospitality with authentic Black Forest charm, consists of two separate buildings - the main building "Waldachtal" and the guest house "Himmelreich", located about 100 meters (approximately a 3-minute walk) apart (no covered access). The main building houses the reception, a sauna, the fitness area, the Hannikel restaurant, and a modernly furnished rooftop lounge, while the guest house features a wellness area and pool.
Location & Surroundings
Directly from the hotel, picturesque hiking trails lead through the diverse landscape of forests, meadows, and the gentle hills of the Northern Black Forest, making the region a paradise for nature lovers and those seeking tranquility. A historic mill and traditional Black Forest villages invite exploration.
Dining & Leisure
A regional and abundant breakfast buffet awaits you in the main building. Dinner, either buffet-style or a chef's choice menu, is served daily in one of the restaurants. Delight in diverse culinary experiences with regional dishes, seasonally adjusted.
Sundays, the Hannikel restaurant is closed. Alternatively, a varied Black Forest buffet takes place at the Gasthof Waldachtal in Oberwaldach, approximately 3 km from the hotel, with a complimentary shuttle offered.
