Maggona is a coastal town on the west coast of Sri Lanka, located about an hour and a half south of Colombo. Away from the main tourist streams, the town retains its original charm and invites you with long sandy beaches, tropical vegetation, and the gentle sound of the Indian Ocean for relaxing moments. Particularly from October to April, the sea is at its calmest. The atmosphere in Maggona is defined by serenity and natural beauty. In the vicinity, you'll find small temples, traditional villages, and traces of authentic Sri Lankan daily life, which touches with its simplicity and warmth.

The restaurant is located directly on the beach, allowing you to enjoy your Ayurvedic meals with a sea view and the sound of the waves. Nutrition is a key component of the holistic health concept at Mahi Beach Ayurveda. Meals are prepared according to individual needs, freshly and always in close coordination with the attending Ayurvedic doctor. Whether it's a classic Panchakarma therapy or targeted treatment for physical ailments, our dedicated team of two Ayurvedic doctors and eight therapists supports you with expertise, empathy, and extensive experience. The Ayurvedic doctors specialize in areas including stress and burnout, back and joint issues, digestive and skin problems, gynecology, and Panchakarma for detoxification and rejuvenation, among other conditions treated at Mahi Beach Ayurveda. Yoga, meditation, and Tai Chi meaningfully complement your Ayurveda therapy, aiding in harmonizing body and mind. Acupuncture, acupressure, and additional tests (e.g., X-ray, blood tests etc.) are available for a fee on-site.
