Day 1: Pinnawela - Kandy
Pick-Up from the Airport, during the journey to Kandy visit of the elephant orphanage and spice garden in Pinnawela. In the evening cultural folklore dance show and visit of the temple of tooth, where the Buddhas sacred tooth relict can be gazed at and ceremony. Dinner and overnight in Kandy.

Day 2: Kandy - Peradeniya - Nauoya - Nuwara Eliya
After breakfast visit of a traditionele craftsfactory and afterwards city tour through Kandy. Train ride through impressive lanscapes from Peradeniya towards Nanuoya, followed by car drive to Nuwara Eliya, the „coldest” place of Sri Lanka. This is one of the reasons for the side name „Little England”. Visit of this place and its natural beauty (mountains, valleys, water falls, tea plantations) and visit of a tea plantation and plant in order to get some insight into the exciting tea production. Dinner and overnight in Nuwara Eliya.

Day 3: Nuwara Eliya - Udawalawe - Ratnapura
After breakfast Jeep safari in the Udawalawe National Park, journey to Ratnapura. 2 overnights and Dinner in Ratnaloka Tour Inns.

Day 4: Ratnapura
After breakfast, visit of a gem mine and museum in order to discover the blue saphir "Blue Belle". Afterwards yoga and meditation. In the evening, visit of a buddhist temple with Puja ceremony.

Day 5: Departure

Day 7: Ratnapura

Day 8: Ratnapura - Singharaja - Ratnapura

☀ The city of Ratnapura in southwestern Sri Lanka is known primarily for the mining of the gems ruby, sapphire and cat's eye and therefore has the nickname "city of jewels". Gemstone treasures from Sri Lanka and the rest of the world can be admired in two museums. The city of Kandy is located at an altitude of 500 meters surrounded by hills on the river Mahaweli. The altitude and the artificial lake in the center of the city provide on average 24 ° C for much cooler temperatures than in the lowlands.

The town of Ratnapure in southwest Sri Lanka is known mainly through the reduction of gemstones ruby, sapphire, and cat's eye and therefore also bears the nickname "City of Jewels". Other highlights of the region are the Singharaja forest, the last rain forest in the country, Udawalawe National Park or the holy mountain Adam's Peak.
