Location & Surroundings
Kandy is the cultural capital of Sri Lanka, renowned for its rich history, spiritual significance, and stunning natural landscapes. At the heart of the city lies the famous Temple of the Tooth, one of the most sacred Buddhist sites in the country, surrounded by the picturesque Kandy Lake. The city also offers numerous attractions such as the Royal Botanical Gardens Peradeniya, home to over 4,000 plant species, the green Udawatta Kele Sanctuary, and the Ceylon Tea Museum. Kandy is also celebrated for its cultural highlights, particularly the vibrant Kandy Esala Perahera festival featuring traditional dances, drummers, and decorated elephants. Surrounded by lush hills and tea plantations, the region invites visitors to hike and explore, offering a harmonious blend of culture, nature, and spirituality.
Dining & Leisure
The restaurant offers a holistic dining experience. The spacious outdoor terrace provides a stunning view over the valley and the gentle hills, making every visit a special moment. A true highlight is the in-house permaculture garden: fruits, vegetables, herbs, and spices come directly from organic cultivation, ensuring utmost freshness under the motto "From Our Organic Garden to Your Plate". The cuisine combines regional specialties with a selection of Ayurvedic dishes that are both vegetarian and nutrient-rich. Additionally, guests can always choose dishes from the à la carte menu to tailor their meals to their preferences. Each dish is designed to align body and mind and enhance guests' well-being.
