Nice vacation with very good price - performance ratio

We had a nice and relaxing vacation in Kolberg / Poland. The Hotel Mona Lisa is located just outside of Kolberg, but quiet and easily accessible by bus. The price/performance ratio in the hotel was right, the price paid was fully in line with the offer. Overall a very nice vacation, we were certainly not there for the last time.

Hotel

Quietly located outside of Kolberg, but easily accessible, also with bus connection, which is very reasonably priced (parking in Kolberg is not cheap). The hotel, not too big ( 100 rooms ?) is in some details perhaps not up to the latest (German) standard, but everything was clean, the rooms functionally furnished. The breakfast / dinner offer was always rich and tasty, the staff in all areas always very nice. Small wellness area with bath, sauna and beauty treatments. Our expectations were fully met, the price/performance ratio was right. The parking lot situation should perhaps be reconsidered by the hotel, there is always a parking space somewhere, but sometimes perhaps not quite legal and at some distance.

Service

Staff at reception multilingual, always friendly, nice and helpful. In the restaurant / bar / cafe as well, even special requests regarding food / drinks were fulfilled. Full marks.

Treatments

Very nice staff, good and reasonably priced offer. We only used it once, but found it very pleasant. Here too, as already mentioned, the price/performance ratio is good.

Board type

Large selection for breakfast and dinner is plentiful, many different salads, with a daily changing selection. Hot and cold dishes, soups and desserts, nicely arranged, everything was tasty for us, the staff are always attentive, and customer requests are also taken into account. Only the drinks with dinner are a slight point deduction, there is water and various juices from the vending machine, also various teas, we would also have liked to have a wine or beer with dinner, but this probably fails with the self-service character and the buffet. And we didn't want to carry the drinks from the bar around either. But overall very good here too, price/performance is good.

Wellness area

Pool and sauna not huge, but other hotels don't have them. Was always clean, with some minor refurbishment needed (e.g. closets), but overall okay. And the Baltic Sea is only a few minutes' walk away, which is certainly a plus in summer, and also because it's a bit out of the way and not overcrowded. Various beauty offers, massages and other treatments, bookable daily, and also affordable due to the exchange rate.
