In this study, 60 patients were observed over a period of 90 days. 30 of them underwent combined Ayurveda and yoga therapy, while the other 30 (the control group) continued to receive symptomatic treatment with non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).
After the 90 days, the control group showed no significant change in their headaches or quality of life.
The group that participated in Ayurveda and yoga therapy showed a significant reduction in symptoms.
A combination of Ayurveda and yoga could prove useful in relieving the pain and improving the quality of life of migraine sufferers.
