In a pilot study, 15 migraine patients were studied over a period of 30 days. Their treatment included Agnikarma ( a honey-ghee treatment) and a decoction called Pathyadi, which was taken twice daily.
Patients noticed significant relief over the course of the study, not only in pain, but also in sensitivity to light and sound , as well as other symptoms such as nausea and dizziness. This is considered an effective treatment for migraine.
