    Study on the effect of mountain climate on chronic bronchitis

    For the study under V. A. Berezovskiĭ, 60 patients with obstructive and non-obstructive bronchitis were examined before and after high mountain climate treatment in a special climate therapy box.

    The clinical and functional findings showed a reduction in bronchial obstruction, an increase in lung capacity, an improvement in respiratory rate and aerodynamics and an increase in local and regional lung ventilation. The results were better for obstructive bronchitis.
