Chronic recurrent pelvic inflammatory disease is known to promote the development of adhesions and infertility. They therefore require surgical treatment and increase the risk of obstetric and perinatal pathologies.
The present study investigated the therapeutic and preventive efficacy of natural and preformed physical factors for pregnancy preparation in gynecological high-risk patients and pregnant women at high risk of obstetric and perinatal complications in the healing therapies and health care facilities of the Krasnodar region.
The treatment included aero-, helio- and thalassotherapy, transcranial electrical nerve stimulation, UHF therapy and hydrogen sulphide or iodine-bromine therapy. A total of 267 women were included in the study.
In 52% of the 144 patients in the main group who received rehabilitative treatment, pregnancy occurred within 3 to 5 months after therapeutic-preventive laparoscopic procedures. In addition, the incidence of obstetric and perinatal pathologies was significantly reduced in this group compared to the control group, which enabled a significant reduction in material and financial expenditure.
