Heart / Circulatory system
The healing therapy and resort treatment of coronary heart disease under M. I. Zubareva et al. was performed on 106 patients (34 men and 72 women) aged 45 to 69 years who suffered from exertional angina. It consisted of basic therapy in combination with a rational diet, therapeutic physical exercises, thalassotherapy, underwater pressure massage and low-mineralized Chvizhense water. Patients were divided into three groups according to the type of baths prescribed: Radon baths (group 1), iodine-bromine baths (group 2) and sulphur baths (group 3).
The evaluation of the effectiveness of the different therapeutic modalities showed that the differentiated treatment of the combined treatment with the mineral waters of the Sochi resort town and underwater pressure massage had a positive effect on patients with coronary heart disease.
