Experience unique nature, unparalleled sunsets, and rejuvenating activities during this retreat for body and soul. Enjoy profound relaxation away from mass tourism.
A week away from everyday challenges, where you can immerse yourself in the world of yoga, meditation, and relaxation in nature. The goal is to forget daily life and connect with your body and mind on a deeper level. You can plan your leisure time as you wish: relax by the hotel's pool with sea view, hike unique routes in the Epirus mountains, explore nearby Greek coastal towns, or simply cool off and sunbathe on one of the beautiful sandy beaches on the West Coast of Greece.
Lovers of Greek cuisine will thoroughly enjoy their stay during the retreat. Start your morning with a breakfast buffet featuring fresh Greek mountain tea, porridge, fruit salad, local fruits and vegetables, yoghurt, olives, bread, and vegetarian spreads. The kitchen team delights you daily with changing Greek pastries and lovingly prepared sweet and savoury egg dishes. In the evening, savour Greek and international cuisine, with a focus on wholesome, predominantly plant-based, and of course, local ingredients. At the pool bar, enjoy refreshing drinks and light meals throughout the day and evening while overlooking the sea. Additionally, experience nature and Greek cuisine just steps away from the hotel by the sea, in taverns offering Greek specialties and fresh seafood, all while being captivated by Greek hospitality.
Kathrin Wirth has been teaching yoga for over 20 years and integrates her knowledge as a naturopath into her classes. She has been in private practice for 12 years and founded her own yoga studio 18 years ago, where daily classes and training sessions take place. Over the years, she has added many training and further education courses in yoga, pranayama, and nutrition. She had a very educational time as an assistant to her trainer Roswitha Raupach as a chakra therapist, where she was able to gain many experiences in the energetic field. Currently, she is completing a 300+ Anusara yoga teacher training with Lalla and Vilas Turske, which sheds new light on yoga for her and bridges all her learned experiences. Kathrin loves to travel and has been leading yoga retreats in Germany, Turkey, Bali, and Greece for years. With her husband Peter and the support of many dear people, she founded Shamana Yoga Retreats in 2022. With passion and compassion, she wholeheartedly shares what she has experienced on her journey. With gentleness, strength, and ease, she holds the space for a very personal experience.
Numerous small and large sandy beaches are located in the immediate vicinity of the hotel (walking time depending on the beach about 5 to 10 minutes), some of which are equipped with sun loungers. For those who enjoy tranquillity, the so-called "Secret Bay," accessible only via a short forest path, is a special recommendation. Walking paths through pristine nature and olive groves to the nearest mountain village start right at the hotel. The UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Meteora Monastery complex is about a 2:45-hour drive away. The picturesque village of Syvota, about 3 miles from the hotel, invites you to visit. The small town of Parga is 17 km away. The port of Igoumenitsa, with connections to the island of Corfu, is 20 km away.
Optional excursions and hikes can be booked on site. Price per hike: 15-25€ (approx. UK £13 / USD $16).

Stay at the Hotel Agia Paraskevi in Perdika, where you'll be enchanted by typically bright Greek-style double rooms, each featuring a balcony/terrace with direct sea view. From the balconies/terraces and throughout the property, especially from the dining and pool areas, enjoy the ever-changing colours of the sunset. The panoramic sea views and sunsets are definite highlights. The bright double rooms with private bathrooms (shower/bath, WC) offer a blend of Greek charm, modern elements, and time-honoured traditions. All rooms are equipped with cable TV, Wi-Fi, and air conditioning. The colours cream and brown dominate the rooms, while outdoors, ancient olive trees, pink oleanders, and large palms create a Mediterranean ambiance. Round archways, old stone walls, and blue shutters give the resort an authentic Greek feel. The well-maintained grounds are particularly enchanting with a beautiful outdoor pool, from which you can gaze out over the Ionian Sea. Three yoga rooms (two indoor, one outdoor) with wonderful energies are perfect for practicing and meditating, designed to ensure tranquillity.

For me the whole retreat was great. Kathrin and Peter are wonderful, accommodating, warm people who do everything to give you exactly the yoga retreat you need. I really enjoyed the combination of yoga practice, hikes and relaxation. There are stunning views from the hotel and it's only a 5 minute walk to the beach. The accommodation is really nice with a pleasant, family atmosphere. Everyone is always friendly and helpful. I can highly recommend the vacation.
