Climate treatment
Skin / Allergies
The effectiveness of topical steroids, chemotherapy, photochemotherapy, borderline radiotherapy and electron beam therapy has already been demonstrated in the treatment of mycosis fungoides. In addition, the results of dermatological climatotherapy in the high Alps region (Davos, 1,560 m) show that natural sunlight exposure in this special climate is very effective in the treatment of mycosis fungoides.
Overall, 63% of 128 treatment cycles in 84 patients with mycosis fungoides went into remission, which lasted at least 13 months. The best results were achieved in the early stages of mycosis fungoides and when climatotherapy was carried out long enough and repeated.
