Discover the spa town of Gyula, a charming spa town in the southeastern part of Hungary, just a few kilometres from the Hungarian-Romanian border. The Orchidea Restaurant seats 400 guests, offering a delightful mix of Hungarian specialties and international cuisine. The Castle Spa

The spa was constructed in the 8.5-hectare castle park of the former Almásy Castle. The design of the facility focused on protecting the tree population of the castle garden. The Castle Spa features 19 pools and offers comprehensive medical services, including medical examinations, mud packs, medical massages, hydrotherapy, and electrotherapy. Electrotherapy includes treatments such as galvanic therapy, ultrasound, or microwave therapy. Medical staff and specialists are available on-site.

Indications include: musculoskeletal disorders, intervertebral disc conditions, rheumatic diseases, osteoporosis, degenerative diseases of the spine and joints, post-treatment of injuries, surgeries of the musculoskeletal system, soft tissue rheumatism, secondary joint diseases, chronic peripheral complaints related to the nervous system due to mechanical reasons, and more.

Gyula is renowned for its historic monuments. The only preserved brick castle from the 15th century in Central and Eastern Europe, which now houses a museum, offers fascinating insights into the region's history. The "Lovarda", a special section of the spa, will be closed due to renovation works from 5 May 2025 to 31 October 2025. This section includes the following pools: the Lovarda medicinal water pool, the small medicinal water pool, the large thermal pool, and the butterfly family spa pool. All other pools will remain available according to their respective opening hours.

Please note that the AquaPalace and the Harmónia Wellness Centre will be closed from 7-11 April 2025. (As of 4 March 2025)

Additionally, only a limited number of parking spaces are available. Advance reservation is not possible.

The hotel spans two building complexes and includes a total of 308 rooms. Building 1 (formerly Dürer Wing) offers 153 standard double rooms with balconies. Single rooms are double rooms for single use. Wheelchair-accessible rooms are also available. An elevator is present. The entire hotel is wheelchair-friendly.
