The Hvězda Ensana Health Spa Hotel is tranquilly located in the spa area, above the colonnade and parklands, with a beautiful view of Goethe Square. It consists of the Hvězda, Imperial, and Neapol buildings, which are interconnected by corridors, and also has a covered walkway connecting it with the Maria Spa, Centrální Lázně, and Nové Lázně hotels.

Location & Surroundings

Marienbad, the youngest spa town in West Bohemia and a world-famous therapy center in the heart of Europe, has been attracting visitors from all over the world for more than two centuries with its more than 40 mineral springs, charming Art Nouveau architecture, and admirable nature. Since the summer of 2023, Marienbad has also been recognized as a climatic health resort, and it is proven that the local submontane climate has a positive effect on the organism.

Dining & Leisure

The restaurants "Franz-Joseph" and "Sissi" welcome you with an elegant atmosphere, stucco ceilings, and much original interior, offering dishes to suit every taste. Sample specialties of Czech and international cuisine and numerous light meals with wholesome ingredients, suitable for various dietary needs (including diet, diabetic, reduction, gluten-free, and vegetarian options). Breakfast and dinner are served as a rich buffet. Vital lunch with salad buffet. If you have specific dietary requirements or allergies, please mention them when booking so the hotel staff can accommodate your needs.

The Café Imperiál serves excellent coffee, tea, and cocktails, offering a breathtaking view of the spa town's park landscape and the colonnade. The regular dance evenings are also very popular.

Wellness & Aqua Center with the largest indoor pool in Marienbad (18 x 8 m, about 89.6°F), whirlpool, steam bath, relaxation area, tepidarium, and saunas (water, tea in the wellness area included). Salt grotto with music (about €13/session). Wellness treatments e.g., honey, hot stone, chocolate massage, Pilates, dietary advice, back school, and much more.

Therapy area with doctors and therapists. Treatments with mineral water, medicinal gas, and peat: dry CO2 and mineral baths, inhalations, paraffin and natural peat packs, medicinal gas injections. Massages, magnet and electrotherapy, acupuncture, reflexology, local cryotherapy. Own mineral spring for baths and drinking therapy.

Indications: Diseases of the musculoskeletal system, kidneys, urinary and respiratory tracts, circulatory system, cancer aftercare (excluding malignant blood diseases), hypertension, and metabolic diseases.

Contraindications: Acute and infectious diseases, malignant ulcers during and after treatment with clinically detectable signs of disease progression, pregnancy, alcohol dependency, dependency on addictive substances, non-healing skin defects, inability to care for oneself and perform daily activities without the help of others, as well as inability to walk independently, urinary and fecal incontinence.

Culture, sports & leisure: The annual Chopin Festival in August. Operettas, concerts delight throughout the year. Beautiful spa park, a jewel of garden architecture with Neo-Baroque colonnade and Singing Fountain - a visual and musical delight, dance evenings. Own tennis courts in the forest park, ski area, cross-country skiing. 18-hole Royal Golf Club Marienbad about 3 km away.

Spa hotel with service and style. Balanced and varied catering. Despite the 21 treatments in 6 days (Sunday not included), there was still enough time to explore Mariánské Lázně and the surrounding area.

All in all, the vacation was extremely relaxing. The hotel is recommendable, the only downside is the staff. But we can extend this experience to Mariánské Lázně as a whole. If you are looking for select politeness, Mariánské Lázně is the wrong place. But the picturesque town with its architectural highlights makes up for it. The hotel offers so many possibilities: Fitness, beauty, health, food, that you actually hardly have to leave the hotel. I feel like a new person after the treatments.
