You are located in the tranquil coastal region near the city of Galle in southern Sri Lanka. The fine sandy beach and the historic old town of Galle, with its colonial buildings, quaint boutiques, and cafes, are approximately a 15-minute drive away. The area is characterized by lush tropical vegetation and a peaceful, harmonious atmosphere. Ideal for relaxation, rejuvenation, and holistic healing.

At Jeevaka Villa, nutrition is a central element of healing. The Ayurvedic cuisine offers nutrient-rich, dosha-balancing meals prepared from fresh, seasonal, and regional ingredients. Meals include breakfast, lunch, and dinner, predominantly vegetarian, occasionally supplemented with white fish or chicken, and always tailored to individual dosha types and therapeutic needs under medical supervision. The open, airy dining area, surrounded by tropical gardens, creates a relaxed atmosphere for mindful enjoyment. Special dietary requirements such as vegan, lactose-free, gluten-free, or light diet food are also accommodated. The goal is to promote detoxification and regeneration through targeted nutrition.

The Ayurveda Center at Jeevaka Villa is the heart of the retreat. Two Ayurvedic doctors and four experienced therapists create personalized treatment plans using natural oils, herbs, and traditional techniques. Daily, five personalized treatments take place, including herbal steam baths, flower baths, and Shirodhara therapy. Treatments are conducted in a separate therapy building, in the garden, or in the room by both female and male professionals. An on-site Ayurveda pharmacy provides individually tailored herbal preparations. A biological herb garden, along with workshops, herb demonstrations, and cooking classes, impart practical knowledge for a holistically healthy lifestyle. Optional specialized treatments for chronic conditions are also available (€150 per session, approx. UK £132 / USD $162).

Guests can unwind in the outdoor pool and enjoy bespoke treatments in the open air, nestled within tropical gardens. Beyond the treatments, the retreat offers a plethora of opportunities to experience nature and culture. Guests can participate in complimentary city tours of historic Galle or venture on excursions to nearby beaches, tea plantations, and markets. Weekly Ayurveda talks, cooking classes, and cultural evenings complete the experience. A quaint library and a boutique featuring local crafts and Ayurvedic products invite leisurely browsing.
