Your Spa Hotel

The Spa Hotel Dr. Petak (non-smoking) is quietly situated directly at the forest park - on the edge of the spa park, about a 5-minute walk to the centre near the healing springs. The main building and pavilion are connected by a conservatory.

Location & Surroundings

Franzensbad (Františkovy Lázně), the smallest spa town in the West Bohemian spa triangle with its extensive, park-like forest areas, pleasant climate, and numerous healing springs, provides excellent conditions for healthy relaxation and your spa stay.

Dining & Leisure

All meals are served in the hotel's own dining room. Breakfast – cold and hot buffet, cereal corner. Lunch and dinner – choice of 2 dishes, soup, fruit, salad buffet, dessert. The pavilion is connected to the main building by a conservatory, which is freely available. The conservatory serves as a café with Wi-Fi (throughout the spa hotel).

Heated outdoor pool in the hotel garden. Indoor pool with counter-current system (3-9 p.m.). Salt cave, infrared sauna.

Health & Treatments

Our modern therapy department (Mon.-Sat., 7 a.m.-3 p.m.) offers medical examinations and treatments under one roof, including a spa doctor and 24-hour nursing service, with our own mineral spring "Stephanie" on-site. We utilise natural healing resources from Franzensbad: peat (rich in sulphur and iron), mineral water (high in CO2), and natural gas. Treatments include classic, underwater, aroma, hot stone, and reflexology massages, peat, pearl, and carbonic acid baths, peat and paraffin wraps, inhalations, medical gas injections, oxygen therapy, lymphatic drainage, ultrasound, magnetic and electrotherapy, and therapeutic exercise. Additional charges apply for Thai, lava stone, and chocolate massages, and acupuncture. Aesthetic surgery is also available.
State-certified therapy facility. Medical report available for a fee of €5 (approx. UK £4 / USD $6).
Indications: musculoskeletal disorders, high blood pressure, cardiovascular diseases.

Contraindications: acute and infectious diseases, malignant tumours during and after treatment with clinically detectable signs of disease progression, pregnancy, alcohol dependency, dependency on addictive substances, non-healing skin defects, inability to care for oneself and perform daily activities without assistance, inability to walk independently, urinary and faecal incontinence.

In the main building, there are 21 rooms (approx. 19 sqm) with shower/WC, satellite TV, refrigerator, telephone, safe, hairdryer, balcony, separate beds. Ground floor double rooms in the main building with park view are east-facing and have a terrace, first floor double rooms with garden view are south-west facing. One room is wheelchair accessible. SGL are DB for single use. In the pavilion, there are 9 DBL Lux (approx. 31-33 sqm) with double bed, 2 separate rooms, separated by a glass door. 1 room is accessible.
