The Art Nouveau, non-smoking Hotel Reitenberger is located about 50 metres above the colonnade with various drinking fountains, just a few steps from the city centre and hiking trails. Bus stop directly in front of the hotel.

Location & Surroundings

Marienbad - world-renowned like many of its guests, from Franz Kafka to Johann Wolfgang von Goethe and Emperor Franz Joseph. This traditional spa town, nestled in a south-facing valley with a mild climate, was founded in 1818 by Karl Kaspar Reitenberger, the abbot of the Tepla Abbey, and is rich in mineral springs, natural gases, and peat. The clean air, abundant forests, and pleasant altitude create optimal conditions for a therapeutic and restorative stay.

The hotel restaurant features a summer terrace with a splendid view of the therapy colonnade. Enjoy Bohemian and international delicacies, with all meals served buffet-style, including light lunches featuring soups, salads, and fruits. AYURVEDA CENTER Daily, our team of Ayurvedic doctors and therapists from Sri Lanka, along with an Ayurvedic chef, will guide you through the Ayurveda programmes. Ayurveda is an ancient Indian philosophy of body and mind, offering natural paths to health and vitality that have inspired people worldwide for centuries. Treat yourself to special Ayurvedic treatments and be pampered by trained therapists from Sri Lanka. Massages and baths become an extraordinary experience filled with exotic scents of precious oils. From the door-to-door pick-up to the perfectly organized arrival and departure to the room service. The treatments were a good mix of medically effective and feel-good treatments. The entire service in the hotel was friendly, competent and very well organized. The buffet was always freshly prepared and the quantity was more than sufficient. The included New Year's Eve event in particular was in a class of its own. We would not have expected that. The general ambience of the hotel was also fine. It's just an old house. This hotel has the advantage that all the stations to be called at are in the house. All in all, it was a relaxing vacation and we can highly recommend it.

We had a great time at the Hotel Reitenberger and a really super relaxing Ayurveda retreat on site with professional treatments tailored to individual needs, really great food, a wellness area that was really sufficient for our needs with 4 different saunas, swimming and Kneipp pools and a whirlpool. The architecture of the town in the New Baroque style invites you to dream, there were even jazz concerts (and contrary to expectations, cultural offers not only tailored for older people) on site and Mariánské Lázně is surrounded by beautiful nature. Thank you very much, we really had a great time.
