Your Ayurveda Resort
The Roman Life Ayurveda Resort, under new management, is located directly by the sea on the southwest coast of Sri Lanka, in the traditional fishing village of Talpitiya near Wadduwa. In 2022, the Ayurveda resort was taken over by the owner of the sister hotel, Roman Lake Ayurveda Resort, and subsequently underwent extensive and loving renovations. After comprehensive refurbishment, including the pool, rooms, and kitchen, the renowned resort now shines in new splendour and has been welcoming Ayurveda guests and their companions with open arms since February 2023.
Dining & Leisure
The Ayurvedic meals are served buffet-style in a small restaurant adorned with luxurious wood panelling. Signs next to the dishes indicate which foods are suitable for your dosha. An Ayurvedic doctor or the hotel staff will be happy to assist you with any questions. The tea corner by the pool is the perfect place to relax and unwind.
Ayurveda Center
In nine treatment rooms, a team of two Ayurvedic doctors and several experienced Ayurvedic therapists ensure the well-being of the guests. An Ayurvedic doctor specialises in muscle and joint diseases (especially arthritis, sciatica, frozen shoulder, gout, heel spur, and scoliosis), skin diseases, kidney diseases, and gynaecological diseases, and has additional qualifications in acupuncture and cupping. The new herbal bath area in granite look with a babbling brook provides relaxing moments. The daily yoga sessions accompanying the therapy take place in the garden, on the rooftop terrace, or in the cabana on the beach.
Free Time
The elaborately redesigned infinity outdoor pool with Jacuzzi bench, the hydrotherapy pool, and the garden, with loungers under shade-providing palms, invite you to relax. The resort offers direct access to the beach, which is ideal for extended walks. Swimming is possible depending on the season and weather. The Roman Life team is happy to assist you with planning excursions.

Hotel rooms at a glance
The resort boasts a total of 21 stylish rooms, all furnished with new, high-quality furniture. 19 of the rooms are located in the main building and offer partial sea views, while two more luxurious rooms are situated in the pool house. All rooms are equipped with a shower/WC, safe, satellite TV, and air conditioning. Wi-Fi is available in the rooms and public areas. Single rooms are double rooms for single use.

I really enjoyed the resort Roman Live, especially the treatments and the atmosphere. You have direct access to the ocean, the pool, the jacuzzi and the excellent food. A weight loss of 4.7 kg after the massage and eating according to dosha -is a great result! Nice doctors and good masseuse and kitchen staff and everyone who made my vacation so memorable. I also liked the general ambience. And price ratio is ok.

We felt very well looked after from arrival to departure. The staff took loving care of us. The hotel has a very nice location with access to the ocean. The beach was never crowded. The food was always tasty and freshly prepared and the treatments were great. We were also very satisfied with the care from the doctor and the manager. It is absolutely recommendable! We would love to come back!!!
