As bowel cancer is a relatively common type of cancer, there are few therapies available to treat it. Existing literature and studies suggest that simple things like gut health may be an important risk factor. Numerous studies suggest that curcumin may play an important role in balancing gut health and has long been used in Ayurvedic medicine; there is even evidence to show that curcumin itself has many anti-cancer properties. This article provides an update and current perspective.
