Culinary diversity defines your stay at the Rugard Thermal Strandhotel. The varied and abundant breakfast buffet (7:30-11 a.m.) at the Panorama Restaurant Königsstuhl ensures a delightful start to your day. At Rugard's Terrace (12-5 p.m.), coffee, cakes, seasonal specialties, and beverages merge with a relaxed atmosphere and a sea view. In winter, the terrace transforms into a charming winter market. Above the rooftops of Binz, on the 6th floor, the Restaurant Königsstuhl (5:30-9 p.m.) invites you to culinary highlights in the evening with a cozy fireplace ambiance and a view of the Baltic Sea. Occasionally, there are themed evenings here. The Störtebeker Bar (5 p.m.-midnight) with freshly tapped beer, wine, and cocktails, is perfect for winding down your day. Düne 31 (in summer) delights with drinks, beach chairs, and live music right by the sea. The Strandhotel offers a wide selection of vegetarian dishes, while vegan dishes are happily prepared upon request.

With full board, enjoy breakfast and dinner buffets, lunch, and coffee and cake at the Restaurant Königsstuhl, along with a beverage package from breakfast to dinner including a selection of non-alcoholic drinks, hot beverages, selected wines, and beers.

The Rugard Royal Spa spans over 3,000m², combining a thermal bathing landscape with a sauna area to offer holistic well-being and exclusive relaxation. The thermal bathing landscape (7 a.m. to 9 p.m.) includes an 18x6m saltwater swimming pool (approx. 28°C, 0.5% salt and brine content) and a floating pool (approx. 30°C, 5.25% salt and brine content), as well as a textile-free sauna area (3 p.m. to 8 p.m.): Finnish sauna with Himalayan salt wall, Roman stone sauna, organic herbal sauna, caldarium, tepidarium, gemstone steam grotto, infrared cabin, ice fountain, and Kneipp path. The experience is enhanced by spacious relaxation and quiet rooms, along with a selection of tea and water specialties.

An individually tailored wellness concept combines classic treatments with Far Eastern healing traditions such as Ayurveda. Regenerative massages, energizing facial and body treatments, baths, body wraps, couple's treatments, and the Rasul bath create a deeply effective experience for body and soul.

The fitness room is open daily from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. The offer is complemented by water aerobics, yoga, and meditations. Tennis courts are approximately 1.2km away.

In the summer, beach chairs can be rented for approximately 15€ (approx. UK £13 / USD $16) per day. Nearby, bicycle and e-bike rentals are available to explore the island. Weekly, various excursion tours are offered aboard an original American school bus, including trips to the famous Königsstuhl, the port city of Sassnitz, and discovery tours to Cape Arkona (from spring to autumn). For our younger guests, a children's club is available at the neighbouring hotel.
