The hotel is located in the village of Singtali in the Indian state of Uttarakhand. This region is part of the Tehri Garhwal district and is nestled amidst a forested hill landscape on the banks of the Ganges, in the transitional zone between the foothills of the Himalayas and the plains of North India. The surroundings are characterised by natural tranquillity, clear air, and lush green vegetation. Situated away from tourist centres, Singtali is particularly suitable for travellers seeking peace, those who enjoy hiking, or wish to experience the spiritual power of the Ganges. Worthwhile excursions in the area include Rishikesh, the 'Yoga capital of the world', with ashrams, suspension bridges, the evening Ganga Aarti ceremony, and numerous shopping opportunities (about 1-1.5 hours away), as well as Devprayag, a significant spiritual site where the Bhagirathi and Alaknanda rivers merge to form the Ganges (about 50 minutes away). The impressive Tehri Dam, one of the largest artificial lakes in Asia, is also accessible within about two hours and is ideal for nature trips and water sports. For hiking enthusiasts, the Neer Garh Waterfall and the Kunjapuri Temple are popular destinations, each approximately 1.5 to 2 hours away.

VILEEN offers its guests a balanced, predominantly vegetarian and Ayurveda-inspired cuisine. Participants in an Ayurveda therapy receive personalised meals, tailored according to the recommendations of the Ayurvedic doctor and served as part of a set menu. The dishes are nutrient-rich, easily digestible, and tailored to individual health needs. Guests not undergoing therapy can choose from a selection of light Indian and international dishes à la carte. Gluten-free, vegan, and lactose-free options are also available upon prior request. The hotel's own restaurant is situated in a breezy, modern space with a view of the greenery. The culinary experience is enhanced by tea stations featuring Ayurvedic herbal teas and infused water with fruits and spices. Alcohol is not offered in line with Ayurvedic philosophy.

In four modern treatment rooms equipped with Western comforts, an experienced team consisting of an Ayurvedic doctor and four therapists offers personalised treatments. Treatments can also be conducted in the privacy of your own room upon request. Available programmes include Panchakarma, detox, muscle relaxation, sleep therapy, and Yoga & Meditation.
