- We stayed in a club room. It was one of the best hotels in the history of our beach holiday !. The hotel was fantastic! We were in a lot of luxury five star hotels, but the service at this hotel conquered all! A beautiful romantic place, lots of greenery and flowers, peacocks are walking everywhere, chipmunks are running, etc. The hotel has a huge area. You can get around on golf cars. Beautiful club room, with a fantastic view of the sea !. The hotel is right on the cliff! For club rooms there is a separate area, a separate infinity pool. The water in this pool is quite cold. There are 2 swimming pools on the territory of the hotel. Service in the hotel is beyond praise! All the staff with such a soul and warmth treated us!

‘2 weeks we couldn't have missed’ Original review
We opted for 12 days of Ayurveda treatment in India and had no idea what to expect. We were very surprised as it started on the day we arrived. Everything began with a doctors consultation, followed by treatments & a light diet for the coming 11 days. Despite the jet lag and climate difference, our recovery began from the first minute. The Room (Beach View) was very nice and authentically furnished.The sounds of the beach and the palm trees greet you in the morning. Yoga in the Ayurveda Center (5 minute walk from the room) is offered. The view over the beautiful bay helped with the unusual exercises (for us). The reward is an amazing breakfast buffet, which we could choose freely from. In the afternoons and evenings, food is chosen according to the Dosha type. The quantity of legumes was an unusal change for me, so the diet was easily changed for me, which I highly credit the kitchen for, because it was an extra wish and showed that it was important to them that I felt comfortable. This is also accounted for in the wonderful recreation time. The incredible warmth of everyone involved and the effort they make lets you completely relax. Everyday we felt welcomed and looked after. The ayurvedic treatments were sensational. Every day, a 60 minute Full Body Massage plus 30 minutes of a special treatment (such as peeling, Shirodhara, herbal compress, facial massage). show more

After three weeks of Ayurveda treatment in Leela Kovalam I feel maximumaly recovered. Particularly well done was the personal attention by the hotel staff, as well as by the Ayurveda experts. Even the menu was completely tailored to my needs and desires. My wishes regarding rooms and services were considered friendly and courteous. Small personal problems that occur from time to time, were quickly cleaned professionally and with the necessary discretion. A spa holiday like this, I would not hesitate to book again and recommend to my friends. Also, the hotel and the beautiful location of "Leela" are, in my experience probably quite unique! I was really surprised by the quality of the treatments and doctor! Just great.
