A multiple award-winning, nature-integrated Ayurveda resort by the Kairali Group with an excellent Ayurveda Center - certified by Green Leaf & Ayurveda Hospital. Each villa is consciously designed according to Feng Shui, enhancing the success of your retreat.
Kairali - The Ayurvedic Healing Village is located in the southwest of India, in the highlands of Kerala, the 'Land of God', about 7.5 miles from Palakkad amidst a large palm grove (about 61.8 acres), surrounded by green rice fields and forests. Founded in 1989, the resort operates to the highest ecological and social standards under the motto 'Back to Nature'. It is designed according to the principles of 'Vastu Shastra' (harmony of architecture and life, similar to Feng Shui) and traditional Ayurveda. The resort is accredited as an Ayurvedic Hospital and by NABH (National Accreditation Board for Hospitals & Healthcare Providers) among a variety of awards and recognitions.
2 Restaurants - Lilly and Oottupura - (with an optional communal table) offer culinary delights, individually tailored to guests' needs by Ayurvedic doctors. Ingredients for the vegetarian meals and medicines/oils come from organic herbal and vegetable gardens and their own dairy. Caffeine, nicotine, and alcohol are not permitted.
Spacious and traditional, dedicated to holistic Ayurveda treatments with committed Ayurvedic doctors and therapists (daily 6 a.m. - 7 p.m.), Green Leaf certified. In 10 welcoming treatment rooms, authentic Ayurveda is applied according to individual needs. Large new yoga hall for yoga and meditation sessions accompanying the therapy. The resort is part of the Kairali Group, which operates 24 Ayurveda centers worldwide in addition to manufacturing and distributing its own Ayurveda products. Ayurveda training programmes are also available (on request).
An outdoor pool, gym, internet service, lounge with billiards and library, tennis and badminton courts, and bicycle rental are available for guests. Excursions to local temples/villages, mountain hiking, seasonal cultural programmes. Additional yoga classes and a Kerala astrologer and palm reader are available for a fee.
The 28 villas and 2 suites are individually designed according to the astrological system and Feng Shui (allocation according to zodiac sign upon request). They are harmoniously distributed among waterways, ponds, herbs, and palms. 11 Classic villas, 7 Deluxe villas, 10 Royal villas, and 2 Maharaja suites (available upon request). 4 villas are senior-friendly. The spirituality lived at Kairali is palpable, for instance, in the choice of flooring - red oxide - which has cooling properties according to Ayurvedic principles, or the Valambari Conch (sacred shell) placed in each villa, regarded as a positive energy source. Moreover, a water body flows past each villa, intended to provide energy and mental peace. Safe at the reception. Single rooms are double rooms for single use.

As it was 5 years ago, Kairali is a place where Ayurveda is lived and taught authentically and consistently. Friendly staff and personal care around the clock in a relaxing ambience. Everything your body, mind and soul need to relax 😍

Apart from the accommodation in these dark little houses with terrible beds, everything was wonderful. The warmth of the people and the healing treatments were also simply incredible.

Easy to connect with other people and perfect when traveling alone. A really beautiful place, a real Ayurveda place (really expensive too). I can warmly recommend Kairali!
