Marie-Anne and Pascal
Marie-Anne and Pascal have recently retired and, for the first time, have time to themselves. However, the years of work are starting to take their toll: stiffness and joints that no longer function as they used to. Marie-Anne had read about the mud therapy in Abano for musculoskeletal pain and became curious; Pascal, who was more skeptical, set only one condition: "If we go there, I want a nice hotel." They chose a week in April at a five-star hotel with half-board not far from Venice. A short trip, cheap plane tickets-no excuses to put off the trip. The treatment turned out to be simpler than expected: mud in the morning, then thermal baths, a little rest, and the rest of the day free. Once their initial skepticism had been overcome, even Pascal fully enjoyed the vacation. They came home more relaxed and feeling lighter, already thinking about returning next year.
Amélie
Amélie had been working for almost a year without a real break and really needed to relax. She wasn't looking for just any vacation, but for a place where she could rest and reduce her stress, preferably near the ocean-which always helps her clear her mind-and with a sunny climate. She chose a small hotel in Sri Lanka offering Ayurvedic treatments, which immediately charmed her. Daily treatments tailored to her needs, healthy and light meals, and staff who paid attention to every detail. Nothing luxurious, but everything was well executed. For the first time in a long while, she truly managed to relax and realized that it does her good to pause and take time for herself every now and then.
Tim
At sixty, Tim still has the same physique and attitude as the athlete he once was: broad shoulders, a confident stride, and a competitive gleam in his eye. But the comfortable life of good food and excellent wine has taken its toll. He still plays tennis and golf, but gets tired more quickly and suffers from back pain more often. That's why he was looking for a vacation that wasn't just about comfort and well-being, but one that would help him get back in shape. He found all of this at a five-star resort in Mauritius, where exercise and relaxation finally went hand in hand. He returned in better shape and with less muscle soreness, feeling like he was back on track.
Julia
Julia knows exactly what she's looking for in a wellness vacation. Over the years, she's developed a clear idea: a certain rhythm, a certain kind of place-often an Ayurvedic retreat or a good spa. She travels alone or with her daughter, and for her, it's a moment entirely to herself, carefully chosen. She's happy to listen to recommendations, but only if they match her taste: she prefers things that are well-crafted over those that are new and original. And when she finds the right place, she knows it immediately and books without hesitation. This time, she chose an Ayurvedic retreat in India, which turned out to be exactly as she had imagined. She came home satisfied and is already looking forward to planning her next trip.
Sofia
Sofia has been practicing yoga for a few years and wanted to experience it more fully, beyond the usual routines. She chose Bali, one of the most popular destinations for those seeking yoga, meditation, and a connection with nature. Her days followed a clear rhythm: yoga early in the morning, a healthy breakfast, and then time to explore the island among rice fields, temples, and beaches. She met other people who shared her interests and immediately felt at home. She returned home not only more relaxed, but also with a desire to make yoga a daily habit, even at home.
Mary & Jacob
Mary and Jacob have different tastes when it comes to vacations, and this time they didn't try to force a compromise: they simply chose a place that suited them both. Mary wanted a wellness vacation with treatments, a spa with an ocean view, and peaceful days in the sun. Jacob has completely different interests: he loves to wander around, discover new places, and enjoy good food. So while Mary indulged in her massages, he explored the area with walks along the boardwalk, visits to traditional taverns, and a few beers at sunset. In the evenings, they met for dinner, each with their own stories to share. In the end, it turned out to be the perfect vacation precisely because neither of them had to give up what they enjoyed.
