Located on the tranquil south-west coast of Sri Lanka, the newly opened Aathma Ayurveda Beach Resort is situated directly on the expansive sandy beach. As a sister hotel to the popular Aathma Ayurveda Health Resort, it promises its guests proven Ayurveda quality in a modern setting. The spacious garden offers ample space for relaxation between treatments, while the inviting outdoor pool encourages a refreshing dip or gentle exercise during the therapy. A special highlight is the rooftop terrace, where yoga sessions take place in a peaceful atmosphere under the open sky, accompanied by the sound of the sea.

Balapitiya is located on the quiet south-west coast of Sri Lanka and enchants with its long, unspoiled sandy beaches. Nearby is the famous Madu Ganga River with its mangrove islands - ideal for boat tours and wildlife watching. The area is characterized by fishing, cinnamon plantations, and small villages that offer an authentic insight into local life. Places like Ambalangoda, Bentota, or Hikkaduwa are easily accessible and offer additional excursion and shopping opportunities.

The semi-open restaurant is located on the ground floor and invites guests to indulge with its airy design. It serves fresh, balanced cuisine that adheres to Ayurvedic principles and places great emphasis on local ingredients. The dishes are prepared gently to optimally support the individual dosha balance. Special dietary needs can be accommodated upon prior request.

The approximately 344 m² Ayurveda Center with 20 treatment rooms is the heart of the resort. A qualified Ayurveda team of about 20 therapists and 3 doctors, provides expert guidance throughout your stay and indulges you with traditional treatments such as Abhyanga full-body oil massage, Shirodhara forehead oil flow, and Pinda Sveda herbal poultice treatments. Small treatments like foot massages can also be performed in the garden upon request. For stays of two weeks or more, Panchakarma detox therapies may be employed. The treatment plan is individually tailored by the Ayurveda doctor based on your personal needs and ailments. One of the Ayurveda doctors is also specialized in acupuncture and can prescribe this if necessary. Complementary yoga and meditation sessions promote inner balance and sustainably support body, mind, and soul towards greater balance and well-being.

The 76 m² outdoor pool invites you to relax or cool off. The adjacent expansive sandy beach is perfect for extended seaside walks. Those wishing to explore the area will find traditional fishing villages, small temples, and picturesque bays nearby. Excursions, such as to Galle with its famous fort, tea plantations in the hinterland, or to the popular beaches of the south coast, can be organized upon request.
