My stay at the Ayurvedahotel Paierl was a wonderful time-out from my busy life - their spa facilities are excellent and it's easy to find a treatment or activity you'll enjoy. I particularly commend the warm hospitality of the hotel's staff! show more

• Hotel in general

  This is a wonderful, wonderful hotel in a really beautiful part of Austria. The room was spacious and comfortable & the restaurant was excellent. They organise live music a couple of nights a week in the bar area and also occasional wine tastings, so a great place to spend some time in the evenings.

• Service and hospitality

  All staff members were always very kind and went above and beyond to ensure I felt welcomed and that I had everything I asked for.

• Cuisine

  I was very impressed with the variety and presentation of my Ayurveda meals. During my 21-day stay, no meal was repeated exactly and the presentation was always wonderful (which really helped stay motivated given the change from my usual diet).

• Spa, treatment and pool area

  the hotel has both an indoor and outside pools, an outside jacuzzi and 5 different saunas, plus several relaxation areas. Everything is well maintained and it's extremely easy to while away an afternoon at the spa facilities.

• Treatments and programmes

  I was on the Langhana (weight-loss) programme (3 weeks) and let me say this first - I did lose weight and a month later, it is still off (yay!). Since this was the main goal - A+ overall rating to the programme. The spa treatments were really wonderful - I particularly liked the Nasya and the Jambeera Pindaswed. It's worth trying different therapists, as from talking with other guests, I noticed that our 'top choice' varied, so find the one that works best for you. The only thing the programme could have done better is to include more information about nutrition - both why certain choices were made for you while at the hotel and also 'do's and don'ts' for going forward.

The Ayurvedic treatments are more than recommendable, I've never been so deeply relaxed. The therapists are very, very good and feel what you need. A really nice ambience in which you just have to feel comfortable. I had a room on the ground floor (Wabi) which is very nicely furnished. The food was appetizing and tasted very good. show more

  WOW is the first impression when you enter the lobby. Condition of the room is top, the cleanliness gets a small point deduction, maybe a black floor is not necessarily the best for it, but very stylish. The landscape is great for walkers and cyclists, good shoes (at least sneakers (should be in the luggage)

  Nothing to criticize, all very friendly

  With the increasing number of guests, was the service a bit slower and you had to wait for your coffee or your very nice presentation of the food, lots of variety and tasty

  Very tasteful, clean, however, the pictures of the pools are not really what the reality is

  Full score for applications, friendliness, competence and recreational value What could be optimized are, in addition to yoga, water gymnastics and sauna infusions. Meditation and other sporting activities

Great hotel with very friendly staff. The atmosphere is in a traditional unobtrusive manner (sprayed Styrian charm), and yet a lot of importance to the successful integration of Far Eastern Health Sciences (i.e. Aryurveda) is placed. The staff is mainly very knowledgeable and friendly. The cleanliness throughout the hotel is top. I have particularly enjoyed the many inclusive services. You never once feel ripped off. The guest is trusted, for example, being cautious with handling the bicycles. Nothing more annoying than complicated forms to fill out just so the hotel can also be protected against the fraudulent guests. Something like this does not exist here. This has contributed greatly to the emotional value! show more

Have never experienced a hotel where all the staff is friendly, Likeable, helpful and caring for the guests. The place is cozy and very clean. It feels like a big family. All employees among each other are great, Everyone laughs and jokes and reads everyones request from his/her eyes. The ambiance is nice and always decorated with fresh flowers. I was really relaxed in this beautiful area. show more

• Hotel in general

  As described above, the hotel is very comfortable and nicely furnished. The reception is in the beautiful lobby and offers a glass of sparkling wine and fruit-cheese skewers, I had never experienced this before. Very pleasant after 8 hours of a train ride. The rooms and the whole area were always clean and in excellent condition. The environment has been kissed by nature. A dream. Vineyards, small villages with beautiful landscaped gardens around their houses. We rode the e-bike, which we got for free from the hotel, and drove almost daily around in the area. Everything bloomed and the sun was shining as much as it could.

• Service and hospitality

  Yes, as already described, I have never experienced something like this. I asked whether they have almond milk. Unfortunately not today, said the waiter, but offered me soy and coconut milk instead. I got the remaining days my almond milk. When I left, the waiter asked if I wanted to take the remaining 2 Ltr. Almond milk, otherwise they have no use. I could not believe it, they had really bought this almond milk just for me. So one could list many more examples. Simply excellent.

• Cuisine

  Unfortunately I made a treatment that was also associated with a reduced fare. My Ayurvedic cuisine was outstanding. Other guests raved about their great food. It looked anyway very decorative on the plates. My husband came the last 4 days and was excited about the flavour and the many choices.

• Spa, treatment and pool area

  One day I was feeling bad. All people who were responsible for my treatment, catered to me. In one sentence - Just like Moms home -. The doctor called then in the afternoon a couple of times in order to be sure that I am better. More than these people have done for me, does not exist.

• Treatments and programmes

  Every day, and I mean really, every day for hours I was getting massaged with warm oils for my pain. Afterwards, Thermal spa and sauna. Everything in the house. A dream.
