The Fitness and Yoga Camp is perfect for those looking to enhance their health, fitness levels, and overall well-being, as well as reduce their weight in the stunning surroundings of Los Caños de Meca, away from mass tourism. A diverse, professional training awaits you right on the Atlantic coast of Andalusia.
The Training Camp takes place in the beautiful surroundings of Los Caños de Meca on the southern coast of Spain. The training is designed to improve health, fitness, and performance levels. The focus is on functional training in a beautiful, natural setting, challenging your fitness. Another goal is weight reduction. The camp days usually consist of three varied training sessions. It is suitable for both beginners and trained athletes seeking a sporting challenge.
The retreat is located in the quaint town of Zahora on the Costa de la Luz, Spanish for 'Coast of Light'. Here, where Spain meets the Atlantic Ocean, lie endless sandy beaches, beautiful ancient towns inland, and each evening the sun offers a spectacle. The La Breña National Park is right behind the accommodations. The park features one of the most spectacular sections of rocky cliffs along the Andalusian Atlantic coast, offering breathtaking views over the sea and the rocky promontory of Cape Trafalgar with its lighthouse.
The diet is based on natural, locally sourced products, utilising nutritious and unprocessed foods. The composition of the meals ensures nutrient provision while avoiding excessive fat content. Additionally, the dishes are both gluten-free and lactose-free. The diet primarily consists of vegetables and fruits, meat and eggs, fish and seafood, nuts and seeds. The course leaders and trainers cook for you. Catering to allergies or vegan and vegetarian dishes is possible upon prior request.
Casper Rasmussen has been a certified personal trainer in health and nutrition with the DIF for many years, specialising in physical performance. He also holds various certifications in boxing, CrossFit, and StrongFirst. In 2013, he founded a training camp in Andalusia. Among other things, he has extensive knowledge in biology and biochemistry.
You have the choice between two types of accommodation. You can either stay in one of the five country houses, which are also the base of the training camp, just a few minutes' walk from the beach in Zahora. Some training sessions take place here, and most meals are offered here. The houses are simply furnished and each has a bathroom, living room, kitchen, terrace, two bedrooms, and an open fireplace. The rooms are equipped with either two single beds or one double bed.
Alternatively, you can stay at the nearby Hotel Hostal los Pinos. The hotel offers both double and single rooms with private bathrooms, about a 10-minute walk from the sea. Even if you stay in the houses, you are welcome to use the hotel facilities including the pool, jacuzzi, and terrace. The distance between the houses and the hotel is about 150 meters.

The surprise: the program differed greatly from the description of SpaDreams. It was a real boot camp. I hadn't expected that. BUT... I personally liked it very much. I will definitely go back there. Although the program was exhausting, all participants voluntarily (!) pushed themselves to their limits. It must be emphasized that the trainer Casper treats everyone very individually. In my opinion, a young, athletic adult can have just as much fun and be challenged as a less fit pensioner in their early 60s. What counts is willpower and stamina.

There were three workouts a day, either in the woods, on the beach, or on the grounds in front of the cottages. The workouts usually lasted 2 hours. Relatively trained it was nevertheless sometimes very strenuous, but has given me personally a lot of impetus, from the exercises and of course from the food. I lost almost 3 kilos in the 10 days. The body is well trained. The weather is constant and warm. The whole concept is well thought out and Caspar is doing a masterpiece on his own. The trip was well organized and all questions were answered beforehand. I can only recommend.

The trainer Casper has an extraordinary motivating aura! Everyone participated, even when we were exhausted. The food was great, it gave me a lot of impulses to change my diet in the long term.

Very exhausting, but since you only do soirt and recover, you do not get to think about the stressful everyday life at home. As a beginner in sports, I had a very hard time, but the results can be seen, and after just one week!
