Location & Surroundings

The small island of Dhigufaru (approx. 35,000 sqm) is located about 140 km north of Malé in the Baa Atoll, one of the 20 atolls that make up the Maldives. It is the only atoll in the Maldives to be declared a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO and has some of the richest reef systems in the world, making it ideal for diving.

The island is divided into 3 areas. Boaku in the east with a sheltered beach, the perfect place to enjoy the sunrise or let the children play. On the west side, the sunset side, is Veli with a white, shallow sandy beach that stretches far into the turquoise water. Along the north side of Aanu is a beach rock, which gives the island its unique shape and ensures that it is naturally protected.

How You Reside

8 Boaku Beach Villas, 12 Veli Beach Villas and 10 Veli Pool Beach Villas luxuriously equipped with indoor and outdoor shower, bathtub, WC, hairdryer, telephone, air conditioning, safe, minibar, coffee/tea set, satellite TV, WiFi and sun loungers. Boaku Beach Villa and Veli Beach Villa (each approx. 49 sqm) with terrace, private garden and direct access to the beach. Veli Pool Beach Villa (approx. 103 sqm) with plunge pool. Other rooms on request.

Dining & Leisure

The main restaurant "Dhandifulhu" with bar offers half and full board (buffet) with specialties from all corners of the world as well as Maldivian food, in addition to a beautiful panoramic view of the sea. Bistro Café & Bar "Thundi Pool Bar" with drinks and snacks and "Raagondi Bar" with cocktails and spirits. À-la-carte the overwater restaurant Athiri spoils you with seafood and Mediterranean dishes, among others. Evening entertainment e.g. barbecue evenings, special dinners with live music or traditional Maldivian cuisine with folkloric music (all weather permitting).

Wellness & Spa

Pure relaxation can be found in the refreshing water or on one of the sun loungers at the spacious outdoor pool overlooking the sea.

The Funa Spa (approx. 9 am - 8 pm) on approx. 241 square meters has 3 treatment rooms as well as the salon for beauty programmes, hair styling and facial treatments for him and her. In the "Reflexology-Centre", your personal needs are catered for with the help of various reflex zone massages and techniques. You can enjoy Thai massages in the "Huifilan'daa" pavilion. Manicure and pedicure. Sauna and steam bath can be booked exclusively for you (before arrival).

Free Time

New multi-sports court where futsal, volleyball and tennis can be played. Modern PADI diving school "Fulghani" for beginners, advanced and children. Water sports facilities e.g. snorkeling, jet ski, kayak, water ski, flyboard, wakeboarding, windsurfing and catamaran sailing. Fishing during sunset, feeding rays and fish, visiting native islands, picnic on a sandbar, dolphin watching. "Baravali Kids Club" (4-11 years). Babysitting on request.
