The Spa Hotel SILVA is located on the edge of a forest park (completely renovated in 2020), just a few meters from the colonnade with its healing springs and the 'Singing Fountain'.

Location & Surroundings

Marienbad, the famous West Bohemian spa town, is located in the southern foothills of the Slavkov Forest. Surrounded by mountains and forests, with 40 mineral springs, pure air, and a moderate stimulating climate, it impresses with its magnificent Art Nouveau architecture and extensive spa parks.

Dining & Leisure

Breakfast buffet, a choice of a 4-course menu served at lunch and dinner, salad buffet, soup, light lunch snack (soup, pastry, salad). Gluten-free and lactose-free options available (at a charge). The hotel prides itself on its high-quality cuisine - you can savour typical Bohemian or Italian dishes. Café, summer terrace, large garden 1,000 sqm.

Wellness

Relax your body and mind - recharge with new energy (daily 9 a.m. - 8 p.m.) with wellness massages (Thai, anti-stress, herbal birch leaves, hot stone), wraps (BIO detox full-body wrap, healing chalk and honey wrap, Matolin wrap with grape seed oil and beeswax), baths (magnesium salt, pine needle oil, wild rose oil) and much more. Finnish and infrared sauna (daily 10 a.m. - 9 p.m.).

Pool, whirlpool, and sauna at Hotel Svoboda (approx. 50 m from the hotel) 90' for approx. €15 (£13 / $16). From 7 nights, 2 entries of 90' each are included.

Health & Treatments

Therapy department (approx. 600 sqm, open daily 8 a.m. - 8 p.m.). The hotel specializes in respiratory treatments. The forest spring is used for oxygen and inhalation therapy as well as for drinking therapy. The treatments are based on the use of the natural healing resources of Marienbad. Treatments include magnetotherapy, electrotherapy. Baths: pearl bath, sulphur bath, peat bath, CO2 bath, Hydroxeur. Classic, aroma, partial and full body massage, anti-stress massage, reflexology, head massage. Ultrasound, lymphatic drainage, CO2 dry bath, paraffin wraps, medicinal gas injections, natural mud pack, thermopack, inhalations, individual physiotherapy, therapeutic exercise. Private Finnish sauna (daily 10 a.m. - 9 p.m.), pre-booking for 60'/room/day.

Indications: Diseases of the musculoskeletal system, kidneys and urinary tract, respiratory tract, as well as diseases of the digestive tract and metabolism.

Contraindications: Acute and infectious diseases, malignant tumors during and after treatment with clinically detectable signs of disease progression, pregnancy, alcohol dependency, dependency on addictive substances, non-healing skin defects, inability to care for oneself and perform daily activities without the help of others, as well as inability to walk independently, urinary and fecal incontinence.

Free Time

Bicycle rental (including electric bikes), tennis, golf, skiing & cross-country skiing, Nordic walking. Cultural offerings in the city: music festivals, concerts, balls, Singing Fountain, city library, theatre, museum. Excursions: Teplá Monastery, Kynžvart Castle, Bečov Castle, Kladská Nature Reserve, SOOS high moor, historic town of Loket with castle.

The vacation was very relaxing and restful, it was a very nice hotel, the service was excellent, if something was missing or there were questions, we were helped immediately, but above all the dishes were very tasty and well prepared, 1A.
