Please note that medical treatments such as mud and fango packs, carbonic acid baths, cryo-, electrotherapy, gymnastics, inhalations, massages usually take place in the Alex Spa, located about 150 meters away.

For winter sports, the area offers numerous cross-country ski trails, downhill slopes with ski lifts, ice skating, and tobogganing. Explore the national geotope Luisenburg Rock Labyrinth, a sea of granite boulders (about 2 km, 20 minutes' walk from the hotel), on whose unique natural stage the Luisenburg Festival, Germany's oldest open-air festival, takes place. Or visit Bayreuth and its festival, the "Porcelain City" of Selb, Bamberg with its historic old town (UNESCO World Heritage Site, approx. 100 km), or the Czech spa towns of Marianske Lazne and Frantiskovy Lazne with their Art Nouveau architecture and much more.
