Location & Surroundings

The small tranquil village Sofiemyr, is located only approx. 15 minutes by car south of the beautiful capital city of Oslo. Not far away is the Oslofjord, Norway's largest fjord, which connects the city with the North Sea. The unspoiled nature in and around Sofiemyr invites to numerous activities to get to know the breathtaking beauty of Norway.

An excursion to the islands of Oslo is an absolute highlight, which should not be missed in addition to the typical sights of Oslo. Picturesque are the small islands in the Oslofjord at the gates of the capital of Norway. Colorful wooden houses line up and shine with the blue water around the bet. There are pretty lighthouses to discover on the ferry ride between the islands. History and culture await you on the island of Hovedøya, which is closest to Oslo. There are also beaches for swimming here.

The 104 rooms and suites are modern and tastefully decorated and feature a king-size bed, rain shower/WC, hairdryer, bathrobe, slippers, spa products from "The Well", minibar, Nespresso® coffee machine, tea set, Bang & Olufsen® sound system, WiFi and forest view. Signature View (approx. 24-26 sqm). Signature Cove (approx. 24 sqm) with cozy bay window and sitting area. Junior Suite (approx. 42-47 sqm) with living and dining area, bathtub or double shower, TV. Single rooms are double rooms for single use.

Dining & Leisure

3 restaurants cater for your culinary well-being. The "MORI" presents an Asian fusion cuisine in fine dining environment. The menu includes small snacks and main dishes, which can be shared at a large table. The"Brasseriet" offers a taste of French cuisine morning, noon and night. Here you can enjoy your breakfast buffet in a cozy, modern atmosphere. In the "Naturli'® Wellness Lounge", inside the large spa area, you will find a wide range of vegetarian and vegan snacks at lunch and dinner time. The chefs of the lounge put a special emphasis on healthy and sustainable dishes from around the world. There is a bar in the library of the hotel.

Free Time

Excursion to the nearby capital Oslo (approx. 15 km). Bus stop near the hotel, within walking distance. Relax in the hotel's own sculpture forest with barefoot path or go hiking in the surrounding forests. Visit the Oslofjord.
