A spa hotel with a family atmosphere and its own therapy department for classic healing treatments and wellness. Just a short walk from the beach, in a health-promoting maritime climate.
Directly on the picturesque coast in the heart of the spa district of Ustronie Morskie, the lovingly designed and family-run Max Health Resort (equivalent to a 3-3.5 star hotel category) - a non-smoking hotel, is located about 50 meters from the sandy beach and about a 10-minute walk from the town centre. Breathtaking views of the Baltic Sea coast. The spa hotel exudes a family atmosphere combined with tasteful, modern furnishings.
Ustronie Morskie (Henkenhagen), just about 12 kilometers east of Kolberg (Kolobrzeg), is considered one of the most beautiful seaside resorts on the Amber Coast of the Baltic Sea. The approximately 10-kilometer-long beach alternates between wide, fine sandy sections and steeply rising sections. Here you can enjoy fantastic views of the Baltic Sea and the special maritime climate with fresh, highly iodine-rich air, especially at the surf zone – ideal for respiratory diseases, but also simply for relaxation by the sea, e.g., during extended walks. The small town offers bicycle and hiking trails through the charming surroundings with coast, birch and pine forests, and especially in summer, a lively atmosphere with cafes, restaurants, markets, and concerts.
Cozy restaurant with breakfast and dinner buffet (2 hot dishes), with full board a 2-course lunch menu (no full board available in July-August). Also lactose-free, gluten-free, vegan, and vegetarian cuisine available (supplement from approx. €12/day). Once a week Polish evening (in summer barbecue on the terrace). Beach Bar/Café with terrace and homemade cakes, in summer with lounge and rooftop terrace with "Sky Bar", sun loungers, and seating (all year round).
Indoor pool (approx. 82°F, 6 a.m. - 10 p.m.), whirlpool, steam sauna, and Finnish sauna (approx. 6 p.m. - 10 p.m.). In the wellness area, you can relax from everyday life with feel-good massages, cosmetics (face and body), and much more. Salt grotto with graduation tower (approx. €8/30 min.).
Hotel's own therapy department (Mon.-Fri., 7 a.m. - 3 p.m., except Polish holidays) with various treatments and physiotherapy such as massages, baths (CO2, brine bath, peat, hydromassage), mud, peat pack, ultrasound, magnetic field therapy, diadynamic (electrotherapy), galvanisation, inhalation, salt inhalation, cryotherapy device, iontophoresis, lymph drainage, water gymnastics.

We were completely satisfied, if not thrilled, from the first moment and throughout our stay at Max's. Room: larger than you might think, with totally cleverly thought-out soundproofing (you can't hear anything from the neighbors), with a wide bed, sofa, armchair, two tables, tea corner, safe, and a balcony with a wonderful view (we booked a DBL with balcony and sea view). Very clean. Maids kept everything clean, e.g. cleaned the armchairs in the common room in between. Therapeutic treatments: the package (back week) included a total of 23 useful treatments over 5 days, including massages. An extra recommendation for the masseur Georgi and for the Japanese facial ritual. Staff: a big compliment to the whole staff - friendly and competent. Various bicycles are available free of charge in the hotel. The same applies to sun loungers and wind protection. Food: We had half board and the breakfast menu was extensive. Various vegetables and fruit, lots of pastries and desserts, salads, creative finger food and several hot dishes, fine teas. If you don't want filter coffee, you can pay for espresso and co. yourself. In the evening there were again a lot of cold dishes, fish, regional soups, desserts, fruit and approx. 5 hot dishes, lovingly and deliciously prepared from regional ingredients, e.g. cabbage rolls, ribs, roasts, creamed fish, sausages, roulades stuffed with mushrooms, boulettes, baked potatoes, vegetables, pasta casseroles and much more. We would love to come back.

Relaxation directly on the Baltic Sea, courteous service and varied food, still home-made.

It is a very nice and clean hotel, the staff is friendly, competent and German is spoken. The pre-booked treatments were very good and met our expectations. The location near the beach is perfect. It is advisable to book a parking space in advance.
